Is Chenille Warm?

I recently bought a chenille sweater. They have been hard to find and I read that they are making a comeback. They sure are soft and not itchy. I had a couple of them some years back and I enjoyed wearing them as they could be dressed up a bit or down. I have forgotten whether they are warm. I am going to put a camisole underneath. Pls advise.

I had a few sweaters and tops which were made of chenille. I remember them as being warm.

@toria It all depends on the weight and weave. I had a Calvin Klein oversized chenille sweater but it was an open weave but very warm. Try on your cami at home and the sweater and see how you feel.

I think it is. I have one pullover sweater and find it very toasty.

I bought a nice chenille sweater from D. & Co. probably 15years ago. That was when the prices and quality were wonderful. It was warm and I loved it because it didn't itch me to death. I wish that I still had it.

Yes, chenille is warm. I wear it in the coldest part of the winter...like right now.

Yes, they are very warm. I like the ones I got at Macys.
