CLASSIC DENIM SHIRTS

Looking for a classic, heavy fabric, tailored denim shirt....shirttails, etc. The JR shirt Leah wore today is ALine.

Any ideas where to look?

The men's lines have tons of these. The problem will be in the sleeve length, but I always roll up my sleeves anyway. The tails are also longer, good for taller women, maybe not for petites. LL Bean, Duluth Trading, Eddie Bauer are sources we have bought from over the years. Also the big box stores.

I found and bought 4 of a heavy denim casual one-breast pocket outer shirt about 7 years ago. They have seen better days - but haven't found replacement until last year - was perfect - but ONLY size small. I've searched every website available - found and bought one (to try) from L L Bean 2 wks ago. Perfect but - the bug killing juice smell is terrible. Washed it and it's been on the outside porch for 6 days to rid odor. Shirt tag says....made in India.

Yes, that sample is denim but = no thanks. There are zillions of that style out there; but it's not my style. Sample has too many darts and form fitting. I only wear straight down front & back. I use as jacket style in the winter with warm shell under 'jacket'. Thanks for your help.

Try Ralph Lauren. I bought a Ralph Lauren denim shirt from Macy's a few years ago. I've seen other ones but they seem "wimpy" compared to the one I have which is a sturdy denim fabric that fits like a regular button down shirt. It's not a tunic.

Just last night I saw a TV ad for an oder removing laundry detergent. Of course I can't remember which one. But the ad will pop up again and I will start checking my local stores. I have some clothing that was stored for 10 years in another house and its very musty smelling. So far the only way to freshen it has been vinegar and a week hanging outside
