Per your suggestion, I've started a thread of things we can wear now that will be important for spring.

The first trend item, from Oscar de la Renta, is black & white checks.

You're the best! I have actually seen that vest at Christopher and Banks. It's nice. They are doing a lot of transitional pieces in lavenders and blues and some yellow on their web site and at their store last week. I saw that Talbots was doing a blue turtleneck with white jeans and a yellow suede pump. Old Navy is also doing a lot of blue and yellow so I am wondering if we will see a lot of those combinations this spring.

Some okay / some not okay (for me!)

Scarf (I had to go check. I have a similar Echo scarf. I've had it so long I can't remember where/when I got it. Mine also has butterflies!)

Crochet (I'm a big fan of crochet.)

Color blocking (I don't like the dress, but I do like color blocking, and particularly like the color selections.)

Vests: (I like vests but I really, really, really dislike this vest. My Spring/Summer vests are corcheted or light fabric. I don't ever wear belts.
