Muk Luks Cabin Socks TSV Arrived

I just received the Muk Luks Cabin Socks that were the TSV recently. I wear a size 8 and ordered the L/XL because the reviews all over the internet said that they ran small. I'm sure I could have worn the S/M, but the L/XL will be fine.

I may not keep them though, because they are SO warm. They would only be for the middle of winter when it's freezing cold. I'm going to have to think about whether or not I'll keep them.

Has anyone else gotten theirs yet? What do you think of them?

Mine were last seen in Florence, South Carolina. I'm in Ct so the horse & buggy should arrive by Monday I think.

I ordered 3 sets. I received the red ones earlier this week, the navy ones yesterday and my black ones are on waitlist. I love them. I ordered 2 sets of these 2 years ago and gave some as gifts. The recipients love them. I keep a pair at my desk at work for rainy/snowy days when my feet are cold or wet I put them on.

They don't make my feet sweat. My feet are always cold anyway. I only wear them for short periods of time around the house or at the office.

I actually got these for my DH because he said he wanted warm socks to wear at night. I got the L/XL...he is a size 10 shoe.

I gave them (2 pairs) to him already, and he really likes them, especially the skid-proof bottom. Even though a little froo froo....

I'm giving the other 2 to my DD & DGD.

I spoke too soon yesterday saying that the Muk Luks might be too warm. It was 32 degrees this morning, and I'm wearing them. They feel so good!

I wear a size 8 shoe and according to the chart I should've ordered the S/M, but I decided to get the L/XL. I figured they might shrink in the wash - even though I plan on washing them in cold water and hanging them to dry. Plus I thought it would be better if they were a little bigger than too small. I'm glad that I ordered the larger size. There's plenty of room for my feet, but the opening of the sock is very tight. I had a difficult time getting them on. IMO, the bottom of the sock is not that thick and I can feel the rubber grips when I walk. I do plan on keeping though as they are very soft and keep my feet warm.

After reading about the socks, I wished I bought them. It has gotten quite cold in the past few days. No more bare feet for me for a long time.

The horse & buggy mine are traveling in has made it safely out of Florence, South Carolina to Saddlebrook, NJ by way of Horsham, Pa.

It's already getting dark here in Ct so they have probably stopped at an Inn for the overnight to get some food and beverages and grab a few hours sleep as well as rest the horses.
