White Ralph Lauren Suit

From the Spring 2019 collection. Worn by Gigi Hadid. Of course everything looks great on her, and when you're young and look like that you can wear nothing under the jacket.

But I think this suit is timeless and beautiful and would look amazing on most women. All white suit isn't that practical, but it looks so pretty.

The suit looks good on her, timeless and elegant.

I love Judith Leiber bags. They're adorable ..... not practical, but adorable!!

I believe Gigi is carrying the JL Spencer Bear clutch.

Back in the 80s, I had a white wool suit very much like that. Not designer but I enjoyed wearing it.

Gigi Hadid was on Jimmy Fallon's show last night, and I believe she wore this white suit, same necklace(s), and rhinestone teddy bag. Who knows, she might be on her way to appearing on the show, or just leaving after her appearance.

This is a beautiful suit.

It appears to be clamped in back on the side holding the handbag. Her body is too straight for the horizontal wrinkles.

@magicmoodz I thinik that could be due, in part, to the lining of the jacket and not the pants. Notice the sleeves of the jacket, which do not appear lined, seem to be the same color as the pants.

@Yes, I agree @ECBG that the coat does appear clamped or has a rubber hair band on the underside of the back of the jacket.

@NonametodayThank you. I taught tailoring and clothing construction for too long. Things like that are a red flag.

You're right, she was. I watched the clip on YouTube. She showed Jimmy her teddy bear bag, and her design for the FAO Schwartz soldier uniforms. She kept putting her hand up to the blazer to avoid a wardrobe malfunction. Probably not the best choice for a talk show, to go bare under a blazer.

I watched a clip of her on the show -- it's just very tailored to her body, no hair bands or clamps.

I just had to find the details on this suit in case I need to purchase it for any upcoming holiday parties. Haha!

Interestingly enough, these pieces are separates and not even the same fabric. The jacket is described as silk tuxedo while the pants are stretch wool. I wonder if this makes them not a perfect match in color?

I am not really into tonal dressing. Either garments have to perfectly match each other or contrast one another.
