Embroidery Yes, No or Maybe

I found several jackets from the mid 90's that now fit me, and they are heavily embroidered, I am not sure weather to keep them or not.

What are your thoughts.

I'd keep them.

I have an embroidered (real) suede jacket from Bob Mackie that I'm still wearing.

Also - a couple of jackets (denim or blue twill, but not jean jackets) that are heavily embroidered or otherwise embelished.

I think it depends on whether or not the jackets are classic styles.

If they are, I would keep them.

I have a Quaker Factory embroidered jean jacket that I will never get rid of. It has a big butterfly on the back. It's old back from when she did the embroidery and not all that sparkle farkle sequin stuff they do now.

I have on Denim and Co that is heavily embroidered and I am afraid it is a little dated looking

I would look at the styles carefully. If they look dated, it doesn’t matter if the embroidery is in style (again) or not.

At the beginning of the summer, a woman came into the store where I style and had on the cutest denim jacket with floral embrodery which she told me came from Chicos. I'm watching them a little more closely now. It takes a lot of scouring to find those "nuggets"! DURN!!!!!

@I am still oxox embroidery is just now making a comeback. We will see a lot more of it. Hang on to your jackets for another year if possible, before you decide

@I am still oxox, while I am not really a fan of embroidery for myself, I have seen some that look just fine on others. What I really wanted to say is.....you must be having so much fun discovering all the things that now fit. Congratulations again. That is awesome (and a hard thing to do, so kudos to you).

@I am still oxoxi say keep them.I don’t save much but some favs are hard to let go...anytime I pull one to wear people want to know where I got it.I think the fabrics were nicer and that might be a reason they get noticed.

Definitely keep them. Love embroidery. I have a denim jacket Liz Claiborne from years ago. It's beautiful. You know, vintage is in!

I've never really liked it, but if you like your jackets you should keep them.
