Has anybody ever ordered clothing from a UK website that delivers to US?

I have been on the hunt for a supportive, non-wire bra for months now. I've found a couple but still not totally satisfied with any of them. I have decided that I just can't wear an underwire anymore and, yes, I've been professionally bra-fitted and have several well-fitting Wacoal bras but the underwires just drive me crazy. I've noticed that probably 90% of the bras sold in the US are either underwire, or if they are wireless, then they are lined with foam. The foam bras are hilarious to me because they literally can stand up on their own! Anyway, I have discovered that the selection of wirefree bras on some UK online sites such as JD Williams, Marks & Spencer and Debenhams are numerous and they deliver to the US. Has anyone ever ordered from one of these UK sites and, if so, did you have a good or bad experience? Thanks so much!

I kept my a/c with Marks & Spencers when I came to U.S. Have not ordered lately very much online from U.K. the few items I did order I had good delivery with no problems. I have found I can generally find what I need here.

I haven’t ordered from those stores but, I have had good luck with other UK websites. I order regularly from Fortnum & Mason and occasionally from a china shop and some bookstores.

I have a couple of times. I ordered a black sweater from Marks and Spencer that Meghan wore. Fit was perfect so no return issue. I also impulsively ordered a dress that was way too tight and I hated the fabric. The cost to return it was depressing. Because of cost of return I would never order bras from the UK. The sizing differences can be tricky too.

That's exactly the advice I needed. Bras are one of those things that vary widely in how they fit even though they may be the same size. I am just so desperate and it just seems like we don't have the same selection of bra styles like they do in the UK. I'm able to find lots of wire-free styles on the UK websites; in the US, it seems like all the wire-free styles are bralettes and tney just don't offer the support I need. Oh, well. . .

I love the MIH jeans and they are a British company. Their website has the pounds section on one page and the U.S. dollars on the other. Always get great free shipping and amazingly good jeans. Always feel comfortale using their website. Great shipping from around the world. MIH makes their jeans in the U.S., but is headquatered in the UK. Their denim is made in Milan.

@sueeich I buy Bali and Wacoal, and remove the underwire. Marks & Spencer has a USA website. Just google it.

I just got 2 breezies bras with no underwire. They aren't padded either, but they do allow your nipple to show. A bit of tissue inside the cup ,covers that up

Never ordered clothing, but I frequently order books from England, France or Germany.

One thing to be aware (besides cost of shipping) is that your bank may charge you an additional currency exchange fee.

It's worth it for me because the book are out-of-print and not available elsewhere.

I've ordered from the Radley London site. Both times, the handbags arrived from the U.K. within a week of ordering. That's faster than many sites in the US!

On the other hand, when returning one of the bags, it took twice as long for it to arrive back in England.

ETA: The shipping is free both ways, something that's important to me with respect to overseas purchases.

36DD. That size usually bumps me up into a plus size category and I'm not a plus size. I'm 5'10" and a size 12. I once had a saleslady tell me that 36DD really isn't that big. I went to Dillards yesterday and bought a soft cup Wacoal bra that I had worn before, but it was really my only choice. When I was in my 20's, I don't remember this many underwire bras. If I remember correctly, most bras were soft cup and the underwired ones were the exception. Underwires are a torture device, if you ask me.

I did check all the soft cup choices on Herroom and found a couple of possibilities. One of them I actually found at my local Dillards yesterday. I guess I wish that I had more choices. Between the underwires and all the foam cups, I'm exasperated!

This happened several weeks a go. I discovered a website called Modist. It had a British section with pound payments, a French section and a U.S.A. section. I ordered some beautiful trousers brand name on sale. For some reason I thought they were headquartered in the U.K. Instead I found out they were in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. At least that's where the pants came from. Great service. First time ever with an Arab company. I found out when I emailed them before my pants arrived. I fully recommend the site.

@sueeich, most wireless bras in that size seem to have some kind of padding for support. I did find some that you might look at on an site called Brayola. I can't post a link to to an outside source, but you could easily do the same. I plugged in your size and wireless and came up with 38 results. Some might have less padding or be soft cup.
