It would be nice and informational if the powers that be at QVC had a news section that would keep us informed on things like that pertaining to hosts and models.

I don't even know when my neighbors are away, so sure don't need to know about QVC hosts. I agree not good to announce when you are going to be away.

@Mirren She is on vacation. Had you been watching Monday night when Jane T. did her show, you would have heard that she was filling in for Shawn while she was on vacation. Or, if you need to know "what's going on" the next best thing is to go to her FB page.

Our neighbors all know when we're away and we know when they will be gone. We all have known each other for many years and they are all trustworthy. It's nice to have someone right on the street keeping their eyes out for anything out of the ordinary.

That's one of the reasons the Q pushes you to their FB and Instagram pages. The hosts posts all kinds of things including, their vacations, family gatherings, birthday parties, hosts & models celebrating together, new babies, etc.

Whether you agree with them doing it or not, it's all there, every day.

The World is such a different place now.

I don't care where anyone is. I don't care who's hosting what. I came to the conclusion many years ago, if someone or something is not putting any money in my checking account, I don't care,

I don't sit in front of the TV, I may listen to the news with one ear, but I enjoy what makes me happy and try to keep private as much as I can.

So Shawn have a great vacation and I'm happy others are enjoying it with you.

@Mirren. All the hosts have open Facebook pages. No one needs to belong to read them. If it asks you to sign in just keep hitting enter. They want all people to see their pages, there is no reason they would have private ones. Same with Instagram. Just google her name and Instagram.

One ex-QVC host had a stalker when she worked for the Q. Not sure if I would post much personal info that would help crazy people locate or terrorize me.

I can't believe anyone would want to keep track of the hosts and their whereabouts. I have enough going on in my own life let alone keeping tabs on QVC hosts. To each his own.

What ? I agree with the other poster .. who cares if they go on vacation or leave altogether this is ridiculous. I think some people are watching too much QVC.
