For those who own this shirt, please share your opinions of it. It is a beautiful style, but $60 for polyester, I want to know if I would be getting my monies worth.Thanks

Not all the shirts are the same size!!! Length measurements differ according to size.

I like the length of the white shirt (first pic).

I was watching this morning while it aired and I thought the models looked "big" for some reason. I sat there thinking why do they look big, what's wrong with the shirt?

The fabric appears to be "heavy" maybe that's it, it just doesn't flow quite right, loved the colors but opted not to take a chance, I've had enough returns picking the wrong items.

I like it. I just got my 4th and might wear it to my HS reunion in September. I am between a M and a L in Susan Graver tops. I buy, have, and wear both sizes. There are several tops that I have both sizes in the same style. This is one of them; I have two Large and two Medium. I know it is an "oversized" shirt, but the Larges make me look a bit heavy, so I went down to the medium.

This is a heavier, thicker, silkier fabric than other SG fabrics, so it drapes and lays nicely. I will say that the Rich Wine that I just got was still wrinkled after I washed it, so I will have to iron it. Hopefully it will be fine after the next washing and drying.

If you think you will wear it often enough, give it a try. I am in a warm climate, so I don't wear mine too often, but I like having them.

I like Susan's poly and would definitely pay her price for it. Cheaper poly can be bad, silk at $60 (unless you find a deep sale somewhere) is just plain bad, and even Vince's or Kors poly costs in the same range or more and usually isn't as good.

Poly was once upon a time pretty uniformly not so great - I remember with horror some of the poly knits from the 70's. That's not true any longer which is why lots of designers use it. Check out the "he who can do no wrong at QVC" offerings that are poly.

I love SG big shirts ..... I'd get this one but it's way too long and I'm 5'8!! But I hope SG decides to put out some with some modest prints and shorter. Also, I'm hoping the fabric drapes like her initial big shirts.

The last big shirts I bought were a couple of years ago and I bought all three colors offered and although I kept them, they were stiff and the sleeve length too short for my average length arms....

Needless to say I now hold off on impulse purchases and wait quite a while before I buy.....

BTW, her poly big shirts from years ago NEVER needed ironing. I still have a couple and the fabric is awesome! That's what I want for $60, and would pay even more for the same fabric!! Unfortunately, I don't believe SG can find a manufacturer that can come close to what she used to have.....

Thankyou all for your imput. The sizing, material (isn't it ashame quality of material is difficult to find for manufacturing). I am 5'9" , the length of this shirt and arms never crossed my mind though.

I live in Florida and think it would be carry me through chillier times. I will have to consider this purchase. Again, I appreciate the feedback on this item. "Hearts to all♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

This shirt is a versitile classic that will never go out of style. It can be worn as a shirt or jacket. It's a heavy weight poly so you won't want to wear it in the middle of a hot summer but it's suitable for the rest of the year. Just don't order the turquoise (teal) color because what you get is a jade green, closer to the ivy green unfortunately. If you figure the cost per wearing, it's a bargain.

I have it in the ivory. I just checked, I bought it August last year.

Love the shirt. It was $54.50 - so it's gone up $2.

I plan on buying the black ... and the Mayan Gold if it ever comes back in stock.

I have lots of this big shirt in many colors, love them all. I buy really small because it is a big shirt, great with leggings, jeggins and the like. Wear a tee or turtleneck underneath, these are very warm.

However, I won't pay these prices. If I can find them on clearance, as a lunch special and mostly last clicks and my fav as is - this is how I buy these. I've never had a problem.

These wash and dry beautifully - I do dry all the way or almost in the dryer too.

My exact thoughts. In fact if it is so popular maybe she should redesign a slimmer version with same features as to collar, cuffs, length.

Poly is now used instead of silk by many famous designers. There is nothing hotter and more unocmfortable than real silk in my experience . SG big shirt just adds pounds unless you order down and wear it open or belted.

I've got this one in the Ivory color. It's a heavier fabric and I plan to wear it this fall over a tank. Two problems for me: 1) it runs large, so I probably should have sized down; 2) it was heavily wrinkled at the folds on the shirt when it was packaged. I've washed and dried it twice hoping the wrinkles would come out, but they didn't. So I guess I'll have to find my iron and see if that will do it. The price? A bit too high IMO.

Hi. For anyone who might be interested, look at A271652. That's another Graver big shirt in stretch peackskin. I have this one, not the one in the post, and like it a lot. They appear similar, though the one I have isn't quite as long and it has a fold-up sleeve (with a stupidly too long strap that I ignore). Today it was a LTS. But even now it's a really good price, $24.85 so if you're in the market you might want to check it out and see what's left in your size.
