What colors do you wear all the time?

Reading some threads, I got to thinking..... I always wear pastels. Winter, summer, whenever. I didn't used to do that. When I worked in an office, I had black, dark green, and navy blue suits - of course, I wore them with pastel blouses. Guess I'm more comfortable in pinks, aquas, lavenders, light blues.......... seriously, if you walk into my closet, that's all you'll see. Except one small section of crisp, white button-up shirts.

Anyway, what color clothing do you wear most often? Do you feel comfortable in certain colors, and downright uncomfortable in others? What clothing colors make you feel happy? Do different colors you wear change your mood?

In my clothes, my jewelry, my furniture, and even my car - earthtones predominate. I do stray occasionally, but I'm happiest when I can stay in my lane.

I have medium brown hair and dark brown eyes with a medium skin tone. I lean towards black, navy, beige, red and sometimes hunter green and also aqua.

The only pastel I enjoy wearing is yellow!

Navy, black, green, grey. Sometimes red and purple and shades of pink...blush, coral, rose. I love prints with multiple colors too.

I wear mostly earth tones and my house is somewhat decorated that way too. I prefer solids. I probably have 2 print tops. Boring I know. I do wear a little more color in the summer though. I really don't look good in jewel tones.

Mostly jewel tones although I would love to get some green--emerald--into my wardrobe but that seems to be a hard color to find. I stay away from yellow. Does not look good on me, even DH said so!

Contrary to what some, even DH thinks, I do not wear black all the time. In fact I have skirts in every color of the rainbow. One favorite is turquoise. About the only color I avoid is yellow which tends to "wash me out" as it were.

Here are a turquoise skkirt and a dark wine red dress as examples.

I wear a lot of black in one form or another. I like dark vibrant colors. I don't wear pastels.

Great question!

I wear bright colors such as fuschia, lime green, royal blue, black and white and a lot of navy. I have brown skin and grey hair, and I think these colors look best on me.

Various shades of blue, black, purple family, white, rose/pink, red (even though it isn't a favorite). Almost never wear earth tones.

A lot of black! Shades of blue would be next.....actually, I wear most colors except never orange, brown or earth tones. I prefer black, blue, pink, some greens, etc. I always prefer cool colors and I avoid warm colors/tones.

i love color. like jewel tones alot. almost anything except brown, (unless it's on the bottom)

I have silver hair, and most colors look good on me. except brown of course.

Almost always something black or a print that's mostly black and some sort of color. It's just so easy to grab two pieces of black and be on my way!

If I'm going somewhere ... I add a color. I "went somewhere" today, Thursday and Wednesday.* (I bought a whole bunch of Hanes Sport Cool-Dri shirts in black, white and navy and one green and one pink. Fantastically comfortable during this last heat spell. I need to buy more colors.)

Just thinking about this past week, if I recall correctly, I wore ....

Today .... black and cream pants/ black shirt / SG "stone" shirt / black shoes

Friday ... black shirt / red pants / black Gatas

Thursday ... black/dark gray pants / black shirt / ivory jacket / black shoes

Wednesday .... white jeans / white shirt / chambray shirt / chambray sneakers

Tuesday ... black pants / red polo

Monday .... striated red/beige linen pants / black polo/ black Gatas
ETA: Sunday (last) .... striped pants (navy/off white/tan) / navy shirt / cream shirt / off white shoes

Tomorrow - I'm wearing white linen pants and white shirt and probably my orange Gatas.

* ETA: Just remembered that I went somewhere yesterday also .. hence the red pants.

Looking at my closet, I tend to stay away from earth tones, Browns, and all oranges. If I have any it’s worn on the bottom.

Summer bottoms mainly white skimmers or denim.

I do not care for bright colors or pastel colors. I like black, navy, burgundy, hunter green, gray, and cream.

In fall and winter I like to sprinkle in red, teal, purple and royal blue with my basic navy, gray, taupe and black pants.

In spring and summer I like to sprinkle in deep pink, lime and true green, light teal, purple and blue-gray with my basics.

The color that turns my head is any shade of teal. Have to stop myself from buying teal!
