SIMPLE TIPS TO LOOK MORE STYLISH

Erin Busbee boils these down to about 10, so they're quite manageable and easy to remember. Virtually every one of them are quite basic and touted by many fashionistas, but the way she clearly demonstrates them in this is effective, I think.

She always looks so lovely and polished, she's someone I'd listen to. Some of her tried and true suggestions are classics, like wearing monochromatic colors, a structured bag, adding a 3rd layer when possible, wear "impactful" jewelry. I like her fun little variation on cuffing a shirt sleeve, too!

This is the second time in two days I have seen her and in all honesty I don't like her advice, she is dressing thirty somethings. Not a retired 62 year old 5 feet tall women
I perfer Dominique Sachse, who is also on You Tube, I prefer her style much more

Oh How I LOVE Dominique Sachse!!!!!!! She is so beautiful and so humble as well. I have watched many of her videos..love her makeup tutorials..her hair styles..and her fashion is exquisite! She also replies when you comment on her videos! Who does that??? Marla Wynne also comments on her facebook page..love them both! Marla is my favorite designer..I always get comments when I'm wearing her outfits..! I think Domonique is in her early 50's..Marla 50's...not sure? But being in my 60's I can relate to what you said as I'm retired too! Thanks for mentioning her...I try and watch her videos weekly~

..... would totally interfere with my own personal style.

Other than the jewelry ... it sounds just like my high school uniform.

I LOVE Dominique Sachse! She has tons of great style tips and is very articulate and easy to listen to.

Love her hair and I've gotten some really good tips on how to handle it since mine is a similar bob.

To me, Erin Busbee's quick and easy tips are universal. Of course, things look different on her, as a young, svelte woman. That's not really the point, for me. I've heard and seen those same, general principles-- monochromatic dressing, volume proportion, etc. advocated by people of every age and size, with great results!

I love to look at a variety of "dressers"-- everyone from the adorable "une femme de certain age" blogger (Sue?), to @ECBG's invaluable Justine Leconte, to stylist and color guru David Zyla. There are some eclectic sites out there, and its fun to "cull" from many...

I do like Erin, she is a major poster who partners with Nordstroms, but sometimes her items can look out of balance by looking too inexpensive.

Love Dominique. She's someone with no real background in design and has a beautiful sense of style.

Justine Leconte is a professional designer with a degree from Parsons School Of Design with Timm Gunn.

I also LOVE Beth After 50. She's a former model and partners with Talbots, and Nordstroms mostly. Some of you might enjoy going back and seeing her former videos.

I've not heard of Dominique Sachse but wow! This woman is an exception for the 50's ladies set. Beautiful, stylish and classy. We all should be so lucky and her husband is the luckiest one of all and I'm sure he knows it!

She could model if she wanted. I bet the modelling agencies would have no problem signing her up.

I like Dominique but for me she is a little too "marketed," and not real enough. She is a lovely woman and fancies herself to look like Audrey Hepburn and she does somewhat, and I really loved her when I first started viewing her on YouTube but after a while, my interest waned. You might love her, however, as you like Justine and she just does not tickle my fancy. Different strokes for different folks. Thank you, thoughtful @Nonametoday! I immediately liked Audrey Coyne's personality, and her good "energy". Darling! I will definitely look at more of her stuff.

Agreed, sometimes it's a bit odd the way some react to posted items. Over time I've come to recognize the nicknames of those who come to a thread to somehow, 'tilt it" or subtly disparage. Little "pals" in reverse, ha. Not talking about honest, civil disagreements-- those can be hugely stimulating and fun.

Hope you are not discouraged-- there are so many people of good will who will appreciate what you post, including this very fun Audrey Coyne link!

She is stunning isn't she?! What I also love about her is that she comes across as very warm & articulate (no umms, from her) but she's a professional newscaster in Texas so she should sound great.

There is nothing worse than a very unprofessional YT video with lots of ummms & silly chatter which can go on for a long time before they get to the point of the video. Not saying that any of those mentioned here do that but I have seen my share of those annoying videos.
