Laurie Felt pants/jeans/leggings sizing?

Don't know that I can agree w/ that statement anymore.

I have Hot/Holly in both xs and small. Had to size down.

Recently ordered 3 diff jeans of Laurie Felt.

WORSE INCONSISTENT SIZING OF ANY VENDOR , for me anyways.

Sized down to XS since I have her jeans in that size. Couldn't pull them over my knees.

Sized up and they were HUGE!

Three different jeans...all sizing problems.

Best of luck but I wouldn't size down IMHO. Some of her new jeans do NOT have the stretch that Hot/Holly jeans did. Those puppies grew as the day went on...but not all her jeans are that same material.

Check the fabric content if it is available.

I refuse to try anymore of her jeans no matter how cute they look.

I think sizing depends on the fabric and style. For the silky skinny jeans I suggest that you size down. I size down for the best fit.

I bought a legging or Jeggings and went with my size. Fits perfect.

I ordered a pair of her jeans when they were the TS, and they were at least two sizes too big. I won't be ordering bottoms from her line again.

When her jeans first arrived here I ordered the dark indigo in my usual size and they fit to perfection and I loved them, except for the silly button closure that pokes thru all tops. I leave it open and tuck it under the waist band and that helps.

I ordered a medium indigo pair later and they too were exactly right in my usual size.

When she had them as TSV I got the light wash denim and black. The light ones in my usual size are very tight, wearable, but very tight. Have to wear a tunic with them.

The black ones, probably not denim but a cotton twill with stretch, were about two sizes two big. I kept them and wear them around the house but still too big even after washing, should have returned them.

Recently I ordered this same jean in the white for summer and because of the experience with the baggy black ones I ordered down a size and of course when they arrived they are too tight to wear, looked like icky long underwear from the 60's, and were not a bright creamy white, sort of greyish white. So those were returned.

I probably won't be ordering again, as the sizing is so off. If you do get the right size/fit/color they are wonderful!

II ordered two pair of her pull on bootcut jeans. One in the medium wash and one in the light. They both fit the same. I ordered my true size according to the size chart. I always use the size chart. They fit perfect.

Now, the bad part. I wore them shopping and by the time I got home, they had grown (stretched) at least a full size. They were dragging on the ground. I will make sure only to wear these when going out to dinner and not when I will be walking around for a long period of time.

I hate stretch in jeans, but where do you find a 100% cotton jean anymore? I always wore men's jeans, but can't really find a style I like. This has been a problem for me because I wear jeans everyday, all year long.

@tends2dogs, there are ways to manufacture jeans with stretch in which there is very little bagging. But you pay for that. I love some stretch for the look and for the comfort.

If you are determined to buy 100 percent cotton, though, they are out there.
