I have to wonder if people really notice whether the pants are capri or crop or peddle pusher type pants. If they offer crop pants I would think they are still current.

If they're going away after summer, I sure didn't get the memo. I'm still seeing them everywhere. I think they're probably going to be around for a long time.

I really never thought much about whether or not crop pants were in style or not. To me they are somewhat of a classic. What makes them "in fashion" is how you choose to style them, especially the accessories and shoes.

I can only speak for myself, I wear crop pants when the weather gets nice and I wear them in the summer. Crops and capris are everywhere so I'm sure they are still in style.

I think crop pants, capris, and ankle pants are going to be around for a very long time. They are so versatile in spring and summer. They can be sporty, super casual, or dressy. They are a staple in my spring and summer wardrobe. Love them.

@Puzzle Piece. I love crops because if I buy them not in petite, they are the proper length pants for me w/o having to pay a tailor to hem. For a true crop, I need a petite. My favorite is to just take my skinny jeans or narrow leg chinos and roll them up a few times to make a crop.

A capri is shorter than a crop. In order from short to long it's pedal pusher, capri, crop, ankle pant.

I don't either. Retailers seem to use the terms interchangeably. I use my own definition. I call cropped pants the ones that are 3 or 4 inches above the ankle. Capris come to the calf. I wear cropped pants, I don't wear capris.

I agree that pants will continue to come in all sorts of lengths. But I went to a resort in the Caribbean this past winter and saw virtually NO crops or capris. Most women were wearing dresses and most of those were short. I seldom feel out of place because of what I wear, but I honestly felt odd in my black capris. But I don't like dresses, so I will continue wearing pants of all lengths.

I think crop pants will stay in style because women like them as an alternative for shorts! I do also think they are quite cute if you find the pair that flatters you! Some are a little longer or a little shorter or cut full or slim!!
