JEANS WITH PATCHES.

I can't adjust my eyes to LIKE these things.. we used to do this to our worn out jeans centuries ago... they look really thrift store... but i guess stuff from the thrift store is stylish. beats me.

I have a pair that came with them and I love them. Thy have patches I wouldn't normally find in stores.

For me, it depends.

When I was a kid, I remember my mom ironing on or sewing patches on my jeans to cover actual holes, not as a decoration. She'd hide them when she could, but sometimes it wasn't possible. When you're a kid and you're hard on clothes or grow out of them quickly, it makes sense. But I hated those patches and don't want them on my clothes as an adult.

That said, I can appreciate a cute applique or accent that's placed well and looks deliberate.

I have Martha Stewart's patchwork jeans and when I wore them out for lunch/shopping, several people stopped me to ask where I got them.

Different strokes for different folks.......

Ok. But I hope you know you aren't required to like everything...lol You can even hate things...lol I don't like jeans with patches either and I'm pretty sure that won't change. At 58, that's a look that just isn't for me. Like jeans that are overly distressed; cool and modern though they are....they aren't for me.

Of course your opinion is worth something, just like the opinion of every poster here!

Just don't be surprised or upset if all opinions don't necessarily agree with yours.

That's what forums are for, to get the different reactions/perspective to a situation from multiple forum members.

But your opinion here is never "worth nothing".

I have jeans with patches. From 7 for All Mankind. I really like them.
