Question about Training Shoes

Can you wear the athletic training shoes for walking as well as exercise? I want to get a mid high shoe for the support of my ankle and see some nice ones but of course they are not walking shoes, they are trainers.

I'm sure you'll get more informed answers, but I'd say wear them for what ever is comfortable for you.

I'm not sure what trainers are, but I always wear running shoes for my exercise walking.

Do you mean like high-top sneakers?

If so, I don't see a problem. People have been wearing high-tops forever.

I think a shoe not specific for running would be best for the gym
