What Kind Of Prints Do You Like?

I like one stripes in one color on a solid background, I like geometrics if they're in my winter colors, I love florals that run small to medium, paisleys, leopard and the like, and plaid.

I don't like fruit prints, or pictures of animals (a frog scarf or one with lemons).

I was going to say that I like all prints, but I don’t really wear animal prints. Everything else is fair game (ouch, no pun intended).

I'm not really a big fan of prints, I do have an animal print tank top and a few bohemian type tops that are prints. I wish the Q would not offer so many large, bold prints.

Apparently I like stripes. I never knew that until last year when I noticed I had many. I like other designs too, depending on the colors. I'm not a fan of pastel or light colors. I like mid range colors.

I like geometric and abstract prints. I don't like horizontal stripes or florals. I especially like watercolor-looking prints.

Fun question. I like small to medium sized florals, paisleys, and all kinds of plaids. I do not like animal prints, most "status" prints, large abstracts, polka dots, or the "object" prints that the OP described.

That doesn't mean that I don't like them on other people, it's just what I prefer to wear on myself.

I'm not big on prints for myself. If I wear a print it needs to be a water-color or kind of a faded look abstract (if that makes sense), no loud big bold prints for me. To each their own.

Colorful abstract prints, geometrics, splashy colorful prints. Animal prints are in my top 10 faves.

Generally - the more colorful the print, the better I like it.

I can't stand to even look at engineered prints. They look creepy to me.

Prints aren't a big part of my wardrobe, maybe 10%.

I like florals and stripes. I like a single color design on a white background. And paisley.

I generally prefer texture as opposed to a print but I never say never and if I'm attracted to a print it's usually a paisley

It’s easier to say which prints I DON’T like: plaids, preppy (repeating anchors, scottie dogs, lemons, etc) and anything that smacks of calicos. I’m trying to buy more solids but I gravitate to prints.

I feel the same.

I don't have many prints. I love paisley.

I don't know how you would describe what the Pioneer Woman wears - that's the kinds of prints I like. But like @Andreatoo said, maybe it's the texture I like better than the print.

I don't like many prints at all, but the ones I like are abstract, with a lot of the grounding color in the background as the main focus (not a busy print). I like watercolors in deep hues (not pastels), or slight splashes of intense colors. Never liked stripes, plaids, paisley, or chunky flowers or images.

I like embroidered fashion, but only if it's not too big, too much, or symmetrical. For example, I despise big designs embroidered exactly the same on both shoulders of a jacket; or huge same designs embroidered down both legs on jeans; etc.

Marla Wynne on HSN has my idea of a beautiful print (you can see how minimal I like it ). I have yet to see a print that I would wear on QVC, ever.

I like stripes that are vertical. I have a pretty light blue paisley ,that is pretty ,and another vertical stripe, coming from H

It it is a floral ,it must be a small, delicate ,print. I don't wear bold or splashy things

I've never met a plaid I didn't like. Ditto for most stripes ... but, as the poster below stated, I didn't know how many I had until I started doing inventory for spring and summer tees ... oh, my ... so many stripes, so little time.

The only print I like or wear is stripes,,,,,tasteful stripes. I am always afraid to dress outside the box as they say. But others look simply lovely in prints. I guess I like to look at them but wont wear them.
