LOGO last nite

Wow.. Watched two hours of LOGO last nite hoping to find some new fashions I can add to what I already have... The clothes have gotten so expensive that it threw me right out of the ballpark... The prices for tank tops and then you need the jacket are out of control. I know I could have watched something else but I like her clothes and nothing is reasonable.... I'm out....

you might want to check out "as is", before you completely give out on Logo. Alot cheaper and usually in ok to very good condition.

Agreed! Sorry, but it has just gotten crazy. There is absolutely no justification for the increasing prices of this line. I know I'll probably get negative feedback but I have pretty much quit buying LOGO because of this. And I know this is a dangerous remark, but Amy is almost manic when she works with Lori. It's just clothes! I can only watch a few minutes at a time.

AS IS is my place to go for mostly Denim and Company and Susan Graver. As far a Logo is concerned I look at Walmart and my favorite Zulily to find the same style at a greatly reduced price. I have no need to buy Logo at those prices. And honestly the come and go and I don't want to spend more than I have to. As for quality... What I buy will match it. Probably all made oversees anyway.

I have cut back a lot on my Logo purchases because I cannot justify the prices. There are a couple of basic styles I like, but I'm not crazy about much of her newer stuff. Even my basics are overpriced in my opinion; I just don't think the quality is there.

As much as I like looking at the clothes, I cannot watch Lori and whichever manic host she is paired with. Just can't do it. I will go online though and see what was in the shows. If there is something I like, I will order.

What it is called is GREED. Lori and QVC taking advantage of the customer selling a teeshirt made in China or the like for pennies per tee and marking it up 500% OR MORE.... The quality is poor.... and people remark on that all the time, but, there is alway that new customer who gets sucked into the presentaion and will put out the money for a tee shirt worth pennies on the dollar. CHA- CHING CHA- CHING CHA-CHING!

I have many many logo pieces, but I have to admit, I agree that the prices are just wayyy to high. BUT NOW SHE CAME OUT WITH THAT OTHER LINE...not essentials but some other name I cannot recall ... the tshirt was 39.00 plain and nothing at all too it. I will really have to curb my logo buying as well. Will have to now be much more choosy in my purchases. Thats too bad. She would sell more if she would lower things by 15.00 or offer free shipping on everythng.

It's a good thing the models have some sense of what they're suppose to do; because the whole LOGO show is one crazy unorganized whirl of tops flying off the rack and returned for another top to be swung around. And the host/vendor fly past each other (right to left - left to right) while both talking at the same time. I'm not a buyer - just watch it for a few minutes for comical purposes.

I enjoy watching for a while how many layers Lori and the host will pile on each show.... to the point they look ridiculous. It IS entertaining!

I only own a couple LOGO items but none of mine have been poor quality. I don't even have any problems with the rayon/spandex blend people complain about. No pilling, no wrinkling, wash and wear beautifully.

QVC is going to push the envelope with prices until people stop buying. If people are still willing to spend the money, then they are going to keep charging those prices.

As an aside, I've noticed that the deals aren't as great on as-is items like they used to be in the past. That goes for all items across the board, not just LOGO. Some items aren't worth taking the chance. The bargains used to be greater.

I have a few of her items from when she first came on the scene. Her prices are high for what you are getting. Her purchase of her TriBeCa Pad at 9M tells me she is doing quite well with her LOGO items and expect the prices to only rise more as time goes on.

Long ago, in my 20s, I lived in a small town in Upstate New York. There was a lady there who owned a small department store. She was quite obese and was difficult for her to undress and dress, I suppose, so she just kept piling on clothes without regard for her hygiene. At the end of the week, which I suppose on the weekend, she got bathed and dressed again, she would have on 5-6 layers of clothing.

She must have been incontinent of urine also because there was always that smell. She sold great clothing, for women, men, children, etc. She was a nice lady but you could smell her when you opened the door to the store, but being the only decent store in town, unless you went into Buffalo, you were sort of relegated to shop there. The townspeople called her "Smellie Nellie," but everybody seemed to love her and she was a kind and good-hearted lady.

I do not remember if she had ever been married or not. She had no children. I do recall that but she seemed to really like children. I often think of "Smellie Nellie' when I see Lori. I know she has probably been dead for decades.

I did not live there long but I did develop a fondness for her while there because she was so good to the poor and minority people, giving them credit when they could not pay and not pressing them about their credit when they could not pay. That was during a time when the northeastern industries were undergoing outsourcing and many who had good jobs in the past were now losing their jobs but the lady was kind to many and I would venture to say on her death, she was owed a lot of money but left behind a kindness that many will never forget.

I hope Lori is as nice to people as that lady was. She only reminds me of "Smellie Nellie" because of the layers of clothing but I often think of Lori as nice for that reason and I hope she would never prove me wrong.

I have a handful of LOGO pieces. Some I acquired from eBay, some were lunchtime specials, a few I even paid full price for. That purchasing pattern is fairly consistent with everything in my closet. Like LipstickDiva, I’ve not been disappointed with how anything washes and wears. I don’t get all the vitriol for this line. It’s not for you, I get it. Change the channel and move on.

@hondagirl @RollTide2008 NAT: It's called a discussion and as long as it is civil, why not? People are expressing their opinions, many of whom have worn Lori clothing but have come to dislike it for one reason or other. Let's not shut down discussions unless they become obstreperous.

I don't have much logo because the price has to be greatly reduced and I don't buy anything with ruffles, etc. I do have 3 or 4 pieces that I like and one on the way. The prints are often beautiful, but all these asymmetrical, lace, ruffle hems eliminate most of them for me. And as others have stated, I rarely see her shows because of the manic behavior.

So when I see some of her items on clearance, the fabulous prints and colors are always a big surprise for me. I do watch her Sat. show with Sharon, but that's it.

@bjabuceye The justification is how the good old capitalistic system, on which this country is based, works: Supply and Demand. Items sold out last night at those prices, so there is no reason that QVC, a profit-making company, wouldn't charge them.
