Laurie Felt TSV skinny jeans

Hi ladies! I got my first pair of the TSV jeans and like them! They are totally form fitting and wondering how the size larger would look and feel. Did any of you buy two sizes and can comment? Thanks

Mine arrived, I ordered both the medium denim wash and black, same size for both that I had ordered previously in the dark indigo and that fit to perfection.

These? The black is too big and the same size in the medium wash is very snug, but I will keep the denim one to wear with longer tops, very flattering and nice.

The black ones not only are big everywhere but are longer by perhaps 2" so they have a crumpled bottom where it all piles up. I'm returning those and won't get another pair as it seems to be roulette about how the same size in each color will fit.

Otherwise, when they DO fit, they are exceedingly wonderful.

Mine fit perfectly and am actually wearing them laying on the sofa with the laptop thinking how the heck am i wearing jeans laying around? I ususally want them off when at home and lounging. Just thinking how would they look with a little more fabric at the ankle. I remember one of the demos on TSV day has a model with them a little slouchy at the ankle over an ankle bootie and loved that look. But don't want them to be falling down and having to always adjust them. if that makes any sense.

I tried the Laurie Felt skinny jeans, but didn’t like the fit as it was too baggy. They’re going back.

I really like the NYDJ Sure Stretch Ami Skinny Legging Jeans. Nice fit. I like to wear my jeans tight. They look great with a pair of high heels.

I would have loved to buy them, however, the length was too short....only 28" inseam. I wish the designers would stop making all their pants ankle length. They look like high-waters on me.

They should be totally form fitting as they have such great stretch. To get a larger size would probably make them not fit right and too loose at the waist. The ones I got fit like a glove and are so comfortable.

Both the light and dark silky jeans I bought this past fall from this line washed beautifully, really some of the best jeans I've tried. I washed on gentle in warmish water as a little shrinkage would have been fine, and laid them on a drying rack to dry. They fit better after but really did not shrink at all. Very high quality and beautiful fitting/feeling jeans. And I am an XL!

I just got mine, and they're going back immediately! The sizing is waaaaay off! I got the XXS, which should be a little tight since I'm normally a 2/4, but they're at least 2 sizes too big. I'm going to return them as defective. If others are saying they fit true to size, others in the reviews say they're too big or too small, then the company clearly has a quality control issue.

I also ordered one of her tops, and I couldn't get my head through the neck hole. Other reviewers are saying the same thing. They didn't mention that the top might not fit over your head in the presentation. :/

I don't think I'll be trying this brand again.

i received my tsv jeans and I am in LOVE with them. I bought the medium denim and the vintage denim and i love both of the colors and the fit is fantastic. my hubby even said that i looked great in them. they are form fitting but they are not tight! they are so totally comfortable. i wish they werent totally sold out becuase i would get the dark indigo and the black but maybe i can pick them up if they are reordered. fingers crossed! i am giving my old hard jeans to charity and i will be living in my silky jeans!

I think we are all having a variety of reactions to this brand's items!

My two jeans were totally different in fit, one (med. denim) a bit snug but fine as I know there is a lot of give and I didn't want baggy saggy after an hour.

The black ones are much longer, much looser, dare I say even slightly baggy.

The top A301684 is in the mailbox for return right now. It was too sheer (would have needed a cami under it), the vee neck dipped so low in front it showed my bra (I am 5' 4" sz XL or 18), the shoulders drooped low down my arms, and the sleeves were too long. Sigh.

But, the clincher was it was snug and tight and formfitting over the hips. I thought it would be flowy and loose, and in a top like that I usually get a L, but to be safe ordered the XL but whoa, way too tight.

I love the first pairs of these jeans I ordered in the dark indigo and wear them all the time, perfection. Perhaps a large order was too much for them to get the sizing right this time?

Very disappointing and won't try the tops again. They are obviously designed for someone like Laurie, tall, slim, broad shoulders, narrow hips.

I totally hear ya! Maybe she can make different inseams.

@Effie54. I’ve noticed that when rarely offered, it isn’t a shorter inseam but a petite size. That changes the entire size proportions of the garment.

I find the petites too short in the rise and too small in the waist/hip ratio. I’m a size 2, but straight up & down athletic build...no waist. When a petite goes down 1” in the waist, I have to pass, purchase a regular and trot over to the tailor for a hem.

I like them but they are too big in the waist. If I sized down they would be too tight in the hips and legs. I am considering taking the waist in. I have to think about it.

I bought into the hype that this material is very high end. Ordered xs in the vintage blue .

By the chart , if i orderd S it would hve been large~ wrong ~ now tese jeans were bery body hugging but they rippled in the back of the legs which tells me they are just a little to small.

As far as the material I was not super impressed. My Old Navy Secret Soft are just as nice . Yesterday went to Costco and bought a pair of jeans for $15 ($20 minus $5 off) Buffalo super soft jeans ~ and they are just as nice as well.

I use to be a big high end spender on jeans ~ but no more ~ I have not found one that is worth the extra money and looks that much better to justify .

I purchased 4 pairs and love them. I am a 2/4 and got the xs an they fit great. They are slim fitting (snug to the legs) but they are flattering. It took some getting used to not zipping and just pulling up but they are very cute and fit me. I am 5"2 and about 118lbs. I am a runner so i have a more athletic leg and they are great

@DREAMON, as a pear shape, I have this problem all the time. If you really like the jeans, I would suggest taking the waist in. Where I live, it's not that much money.

It's rare that I can find pants that I don't have to alter.
