Can anyone describe the feel of the fabric on Isaac's 24/7 pants?

I've been wanting to order a pair of the 24/7 pants but hesitate because I cannot decipher what the fabric or fit would be like. I prefer the pull on style. If anyone can give me advice I would appreciate it. I am 5'4'' and wear an xl or 1x in S Graver and the same in WWC. Thank you

I got a pair of petites on sale. I don't know if I like the fabric or not..All I can say is it's different. I haven't washed them yet, so I don't have an idea what they will be like after

I do like ponte knit, and have a couple pr of Joans that I am fond of

The fabrics differ from pant to pant. My capris are not the same as my jeans or long pants.

They are very comfortable!

I think 24/7 is the stretchability of the fabric rather than the fabric alone. They all fit very well.

This is the first pr of Isaacs pants I find are a bit snug. In this style, I am between 2 sizes ,and if I sized up they would have been too big for me

This has never happened to me before with his clothes and I like him

You are right! I am slim hipped so they fit me. They are one of the few that does fit me because of it!

I also find that the sizes are not consistant, eve in Isaac pants! One 12P fits, one 14 fits!

@9531 I love Issac 24/7 pants and have most of them. The material feels a lilttle different after washing than when they are received - more like comfortable cotton after washing.. They are very confortable and stretch enough to be comfortable all day.

I agree with @cherry these are a little more snug than usual 24/7 pants from Issac. And @cherry if you wash them you may find the material feels more like the usual 24/7 pants. I have always noticed a softening after washing.

I ordered the latest pair iin Sulnset Rose and Powder blue and this style is the first I am going to have to return. They are too small in the waist. They are a different fit than most of the others due to the front pockets I think. My waist/stomach is my problem area therefore this style is too tight for me. But they are still great pants. The other styles I love.

I also love his ponte knit. They are my favorite pants.

~~@cherry I don't think you should size up.I found that material would stretch out over the day.Mine kept sliding down....sorry for the line don't know what I did or how to get rid of it.~~

@dex I didn't, I figured the stretch would take care of it, but they are a bit snug , not bad ,but I would have like them a bit less so

I wonder if they were mis marked?

@cherry There is always a size variation in clothing.Garments are cut out in huge stacks and so the fit will vary slightly from that alone.I always take in a few items of the same size into the fitting room as they all fit differently and I can get the best fit for me.

I love IM clothes and I have many pieces from him. I have never liked the feeling of the 24/7 pants (own a pair and ordered/returned pairs). In my opinion, they are a little “rubbery” feeling. I don’t quite know the right word—except “rubbery.” Just not a great-feeling fabric. Talbots has many better options.
