Faux Fur Vests

There was thread about faux fur vests but I can't seem to find it now. So, Usps was here a few minutes ago. White package from ShopLC, definitely not jewelry because it was big and soft. I didn't remember ordering anything from them last week. It's two faux fur vests; one black and one a navy blue. It finally clicked. My friend bought them and had them delivered to my house. I sort of snickered at the time because I thought....a $20 faur fur vest...what could possibly go wrong with that...lol Her idea was that they had to be light for inside wear and they'd look cool with jeans and boots and turtlenecks or white button downs. She did ask me if I wanted a merlot one (merlot is my favorite winter color) for my Christmas gift and I declined with thoughts of cheap faux rabbit fur dancing in my head...lol I'm so happy I kept my negative thoughts and opinions to myself...for once. Omg! Those vests are so cute and so well made and the faux fur is a quality faux mink but they are light and definitely not designed to wear outside. They aren't full and bulky. Just nice, sleek vests with furrier hooks. Nicely packaged too, each vest was in a vaccum packed clear plastic bag.

After reading your description......I tried to order one of those vests -- they are sold out in the navy color. Well, good news for my credit card anyway (!)

I saw a black ,faux mink, vest, years ago ,at Fabulous furs. The store owner had it on, as she took our group on a tour of her shop, I kept admiring it

It was just darling. I wanted one, but ,it was during the time of endless summer ,for me, and I knew I would be too hot to wear it

I see a lot of ladies wearing these vests and they look great. I bought one and looked like I was channeling Sonny & Cher.

Our oldest GD wore it for Halloween.

I have one from years and years ago...a Dennis Basso in a beautiful royal/navy blue color. I got the matching headband too! Not a big furry vest but sleek and kinda fitted. So pretty a lady tried to snag it off the back of my chair once at a restaurant.

I have an amazing one that looks SO real from Dillards Gini Binni line when I worked there. All of their house brands are extremely high quality.

My gosh! I found it from 5 years ago!!!!!!

ShopLC sells mostly jewelry. I have bought quite a bit of it in fact. Very good quality at low prices. They have recently started to sell clothing and some home items, too, like bed sheets which I bought and couldn't be happier with them! I have never purchased any of their clothing so I can't give a review for that. @luvdoodles

I cracked up at your post! If I wore one I'd look like Bigfoot in the suburbs. That's one look I definitely couldn't pull off.

@lulu1 Lol. Years ago when Rachel Zoe was on the Q, I ordered her faux fur vest. It was expensive, too. When it arrived, it looked like a toilet seat cover and was returned the same day.

Obviously my opinion of that vest was the same as others who purchased it. That vest was on sale, then clearance for many years after Rachel Zoe was long gone from QVC.

JMO----but I think ANYTHING that is faux fur is awful. Never have been a fan.
