Thank you! Unfortunately, I see that they are going back to the younger crowd again like they did a few years ago. Those short skirts and dresses just aren’t for me. This season was a bust, too. Ill fitting clothes and not enough dresses. Quality was lacking, too. I hope they will have more items for the over 50 crowd next year.

Not sure why you are feeling there are not enough dresses to choose from. The web site currently shows some 90 different dresses available in Misses sizes to choose from. the stores carry only a couple of styles because dresses are a hard sell nowadays with fewer and fewer woman actually wearing them on a regular enough basis to justify carrying a large selection in the stores. Floor space has to be given to what sells and believe me it is not dresses.

I am short so I don't have that problem. I did notice some complained about the skirts being short

I am just too old to do above the knee, in my opinion @GSPgirl

I saw a dress I liked, but it was in womans sizes ,which is not a fit I can't do.

Every once in a while, and today is one of them, I can't seem to find the site that lets me look at ALL the items for Spring 2018

I am not even aware that there is a site which shows all the new spring arrivals. The TalbotsPR site is a “sneak preview” of what’s coming to show to fashion magazines and editors. It is not a display of everything that will be coming for Spring.

I will be fighting you ladies for that purse.

Actually no. My store is smaller so we don’t carry purses or shoes . I will have to drive to the larger store 45minutes away or order it online.

@gidgetgh I have a purse just about like that one ,only mine is Clever Carriage's ,and it is a picture of a French patisserie. I just love it. It is canvass screen printed PVC and you can just wipe it off, if you get something on it. Mine is a tote not a cross body style

@peachesncream, I don't mind a simple little flounce sleeve here and there, but some of them just don't call to me.

Speaking of sleeve styles, though, I saw a beautiful paisley sweater there, but it has long bell sleeves. I guess I'm too much of a slob, but they would drive me crazy trying to keep them out of my soup. :-) Here it is:

They have a striped top I like the look of. After posting I never wear things with writing on them, I found this. I should remember to never say never

It is a bit hard to read the words . They are written in different colors

I have one bell sleeve top but it is 3/4 length. I donated my long sleeve bell sleeve top. Couldn't stand it.
