Cuddle Duds and Lounge Wear

So I recently gave my daughter several pieces of Cuddle Duds and lounge wear.

I knew she'd look cute in them because (even at 44) she has a cute figure. She wears a size small.

She said she was returning them because her teenage daughter told her she looks like.....are you ready for this....Hillary Clinton!!! What the hay?

I told my daughter I thought Hillary mainly wore pants suits and was teased for wearing those all of the time. Am I missing something here?

I just thought that was a strange comparison. Any ideas where she'd get that from? It's kinda funny in a way. I always thought I stayed pretty up to date on things. I've never been told I was 'hip' but I don't dress like a grandma either (whatever that is).

Can anyone else see it? Am I missing something here? Incidentally, they like Hillary so I know they weren't busting on her.

I'm sure Hillary Clinton's pantsuits are designer duds or at the least quite expensive. I don't see how Cuddl Duds could look like Hillary's business suits.

Although a Hillary "style" is something I'd never choose, I don't buy the Cuddle Duds because of the huge neck openings. I wish the designers?? would create tops with more closed necklines for winter clothing. I don't like wearing scarves all the time, and frankly my neck gets cold with these huge open necklines. Seems like every line at QVC offers scoop, wide v's, etc. Why????

Isn't that the truth. I ordered IM pima cotton long sleeved tee shirts and the necks on those things are huge. I kept them but won't reorder for that fact. It gets cold here in KY and cotton/rayon/span garments with huge neck openings do not keep me warm.

@KentuckyWoman @Perkup. I so agree with you re the huge neck openings. In the winter I need higher necklines I am not a scarf person or a turtle neck person - It amazes me how few higher necklines are offered. Too cold to have deep v necklines or large wide scoop necklines seems Q offers lots of these unfortunately for me.

I bought a Cuddle Duds pant/top at Sams Club. The top had a high neckline, a crew neckline? Anyway, I love it and when it starts getting colder, I can't wait to wear it.

Can't understand the Hilary comment at all!

She might have flet she looked older and frumpy in them, a la Hillary Clinton (older and frumpy).
