PRE-SEASON FASHIONS ON TODAY

Sorry, this is just too early to be preshopping for fall fashion. Also the Christmas in July all weekend was WAY TOO MUCH!! I turned QVC off all weekend. I am sick of Vionic and also Lisa Rinna items are not "all that". I have bought some of her items and the fabrics are not all that great. I also turn her off when she has her fashions on, she is way too overbearing when she is selling her items. LOGO is overpriced as well. The ruffles on a mature woman are not flattering at all. Needless to say QVC is not my destination for fashion any longer.

@debmmm - A lot of these items are years old too. I was looking at a jacket listed and shown this morning as "Pre-Season", but having looked at the reviews, the jacket is almost two years old in inventory. How are these things "Pre-Season?" Maybe they got in more stock, I'm not sure.

Well, it seems it could be "pre-season" if it is a fall jacket? I think it simply means buying early for fall (or transitional) items -- not necessarily all new items.

First thing, we are allowed to state our opinions. Second thing, you can purchase what you want and don't need to be influenced by our observations. Spend away and do as you please.

With the pre-season pricing, QVC seems to be trying to take a page from Nordstrom.

And if you are an HSN watcher, beware because their x-mas in July starts tonight at midnight and goes all day tomorrow!

IMO if something is going to have a pre-season price, it should be brand new. Not something old from inventory. There have been a lot of things that are old at a pre-season price.

If memory serves me, they usually did Fall fashion at the beginning of August so I think the Q might be a couple of weeks early.

I have my eye on a Bob Mackie blouse and hope they show it in either Inspired Style or PM Style.

The "pre-season" I've seen today seems to consist mostly of "post-season", that is, mostly getting rid of stuff from last year and beyond. They spent a long time today on the Halston show on the faux suede jacket the was a last winter TSV.

I didn't watch all weekend and didn't really watch too much today. I don't care for the TSV or the rest of her clothing, so wasn't really interested. Actually, I wasn't really interested in any clothing they showed today (I looked online at items recently on air). I thought the whole day was rather boring. That's okay though because I've saved money! I'm not intending to insult anyone. If you liked the clothing shown today that's your choice and if you bought something I hope you really like it when you get it.

There definitely were some items from last year at the pre-season price. I also saw a few new items at pretty good prices. Whether the items were old or new I was rather surprised at the lower prices on many of the items. Usually, I can find better prices on clothes elsewhere. I didn't buy, but the lower prices made me take a second look. Btw there are fall and winter clothes already popping up in other stores - saw some in Macy's the other day.
