Does Anyone Remember

Does anyone remember when Pier 1 sold women's clothes? There was a small section of the store dedicated to clothes in our area. When I was in school years ago, my best friend and I would occasionally pick up a skirt, a dress, or a top there. The apparel was what we call Boho Chic now.

Approximate years of clothing in Pier One? I don't think I ever saw any, but I didn't often shop there.

Are you thinking of Cost Plus? I remember clothing there but not at Pier One.

Yes I remember. I also remember Spencer's Gifts where, at the mall they had a back room with black light posters roach clips and pipes LOL oh yeah! And lava lamps!

And OshKosh overalls were all the rage! How come those haven't cycled back?! Everything else from that time seems to have

I bought clothes at Pier One in the late 80s, early 90s. I didn't realize they didn't offer clothes anymore. I had to stop going in there due to the sensitivity to the smell.

I had a few pieces of their clothing, they were something you didn't see in every other store. I remember a tag saying "Passport" on some of the clothing.

Yes I remember clothes being sold at Pier One. I never liked any though, way too ethnic for my taste. I'm glad they decided to remove them from their inventory.

Way before any of those stores there was a store chain in southern CA called The Akron that was great! The first "import" chain of stores that I remember. Did lot$ of shopping there! Wonderful items.
