ISAAC MIZRAHI TSV DID NOT DO TOO WELL….

I just checked sizes, and most are still available. Only 5 sizes total are on waitlist. Had it been a bit longer and less boxy, I think it would have sold well. I happened to like several of the colors, but I didn't' like the fit or the boxiness.

I'm sure this will be on an As is for less than $40 in next 6 weeks.

I don't think the cropped style was all the flattering, and getting women to buy crayola brights is always difficult (not just Isaac, every vendor).

Doesn't speak well for making this jacket a TSV. I agree that if it had not been a jeans jacket perhaps it would have sold better. I mentioned on a thread yesterday that for the past couple seasons many of us have been buying shorter jackets (jeans jacket cut and other styles) that what our wardrobe needs now are more traditional blazer shapes to freshen up.

Also speculating from statements I read on the boards, the lack of easy-pay was hurtful to sales. Some will chime in about s&h, but compared to what it sometimes cost to ship mascara, the s&h for a jacket was quite fair.

I bought it in white. I live in my white denim jacket in summer but it isn't work appropriate at my new job. I thought this would be a nice alternative. Agree on pricing. Unsure how it will fit. I bought the small. I'm 5 8"" and will be size 8 (on diet!) By time I can wear. I thought it would be nice over dresses. I'll post review..

Isaac seems to be stuck in a design rut. He hasn't done anything in the better part of the past year that I'm the least bit interested in.

I don't like his color choices or floral prints.

I liked it but I felt it was overpriced once you add the shipping in. For me, not worth it.

Color is always my big Isaac turn-off. I too have referred to his color palette as Crayola.

I agree.......I love yellow, but I like the more subdued rich-looking (to me) yellow rather than the bright sunshine color.....same goes for the other colors....more subdued would have convinced me to buy.....I obviously passed.

"Crayola' is a perfect way to describe those bright colors. I don't care for them very much, and even if I did, those bright colors look terrible on me. Many times, I'll see something that I like, but if I eliminate the black and white choices (since I have so much of that), I just can't order because of the extreme bright color options.

It seems a lot of QVC's clothing choices, after the basic black and white, tend to be those bright colors, not just Isaac's clothes, but many other lines as well.

I know Lori Goldstein's tops are not liked by all, but I am always attracted to her colors. They are muted, soft and are the kinds of colors that are flattering to me.

I'm still thinking ""WINTER"" - it was too soon for this TSV. It's supposed to be -15 tonight - I am not thinking ahead to a cotton jacket!

A Bridgehampton bag would have been a better choice. IMO.

i thought it was cute.....loved the colors and thought they were very springy. i just didnt NEED this jacket. i already have two of his quilted jackets that i like and wear. last i had heard they had sold over 13000.

Sadly, I'm not surprised-Looks like all of his other jackets and wasn't all that flattering (jean jacket style)- It was attractive, but nothing special or particularly stylish....There was no "wow" factor! Also, this wasn't something that could be worn now on the East Coast- It is a spring jacket and maybe people are still in Winter mode? (although every single other retailer is offering their winter merchandise at 60% off!!!)I'm sorry for him though.

I didn't mind the look of the jacket, but I've seen this same style before - just different colors . I simply didn't need another one.

I think this was a big issue too. Personally, I like bright colors for spring and especially for summer. I'm not much of a baby pastel color person.

However, we are only one month into winter, we are hitting another extremely cold spell, it snowed yesterday, the East is supposed to get walloped with a lot of snow again, and I have no desire to spend money on a jacket I won't be able to wear for several months.

I loved it, but did not care for the way that it was presented. Every one was layering it with tunics, double jackets, etc. Some of the models looked like bag ladies (no offense to bag ladies) and the jacket got lost. just my opinion.
