Amazon is poised to surpass Macy's this year as the largest U.S. clothing seller, according to Cowen & Co. analysts. The industry observer expects Amazon's share of the U.S. clothing market will increase from 6.6% last year to 16.2% by 2021.

I knew they had to be considering widening the Prime offerings because I was part of numerous polls on different Prime options and fashion was part of it. This is something I will consider. It's a lot better than the clothing rental that I read about yesterday.

I order from Amazon quite often, but nothing related to clothes. My clothing preferences are 100% from QVC. Even the last brick & morter store I purchased from for clothes were Coldwater Creek, JC Penny and Sears...over 10 yrs ago

What a great thing for those who can't or don't like shopping in a mall! Also, it may put a lot of BM stores out of business! Right now I enjoy walking in a mall but I do purchase a few clothing items from QVC!

I have had Prime for a few years but it never even occurs to me to look at clothing on Amazon. They are going to have to work a little bit harder to motivate me to do it... lol

I get all the clothing I want and need from QVC. One would really get into sizing issues with multiple unknown vendors. No thanks!

I like the idea if the shipping is free. It would never replace b@m stores though. I want to shop for clothing in a real store with a big variety.

Seems like they are going after those subscription services now. Well, that sounds better than subscription services because you get to pick the clothes you want (it seems) and there's no subscription fee. I don't buy a lot of clothes from Amazon; an item here and there. I buy my Spanx from Amazon.
