I though I just saw Jacque yesterday. Confusing. A different Jacque? Also I have no idea who Peyton Kelly is. I guess I don't watch enough anymore.

Why don't they get rid of others often complained about? Like Gary is on right now with his droning nasal voice! Or Pat who sounds like Mrs. Howel of Gilligan' s Island. Susan Graver has numerous complaints as well as PMS hosts. Many complain on speed talkers, too, so why Jacquie?

Thank you so much. I had noticed that Jacque wasn't on much for a while, and then she was on very often. I had no idea she was leaving. I did enjoy her as a host, so sorry she's going. Maybe to be a full time Mom. I rarely watch jewelry shows, so had no idea who Peyton was. I think I remember someone else leaving -- whe was on often during mid day. Can't remember her name - strarted with an A? And of course, Lisa.

I don't think it is as much the hostesses/hosts as the products being offered. Look at the great designers and offers that are being made by the two other networks in competition: HSN and Evine. If QVC took some of their main offerings and brought them to the Q, they would have good products. QVC does not have enough to keep a single individual interested. It has gone from somewhat interesting to totally boring and tacky. Get something that people like. They tried appealing to youth by doing silly cuts on dresses, like one-sided and shark-bite clothing. Stick with what sells, i.e., the Marla Wynne line at HSN and the IMAN line intermingled with some Susan Graver and Quacker Factory. My guess is many people just need clothes and come to the Q because they don't have to try on clothes and buy the old stand-by Denim & Co and Isaic Mizrah. If they would give Jill free rein with the GILI line, I bet she could come up with some interesting and buyable clothing. Let Louis use the fabrics he once did and people will buy but they give Isaic good fabrics to make Target clothing. I don't get it. I don't buy it.

Finally, they are gettng good shoes including Naot, Fly London, Miz Mooz, etc. Now they need to look at their clothing of equal substance to pair with the shoes.

Albany Irvin was the other recent host leaving -- she left right before Christmas last year.

That did seem a little strange to me. I didn't see her more than once on any show - probably because of the time of day she was on. Was she let go or did she just decide to leave. And Jacque - did she choose to go or was she just let go. She had been one of the few who didn't get their own show, I think. I believe her husband works for QVC - or at least he did.

when I first started watching the shopping channels she was on frequently during prime time. She seemed poised to be getting show(s) named after her...Then she wasn't on for a very long time...

Wow - I had no idea she left yesterday. How come some hosts who leave get farewell parties on the Q and the hosts get to say some kind words, etc. Jacque was with the Q for a long time so this surprised me.

I saw Jacque on Q2 more and more often. Apparently, according to what others posted in the other thread about this, she was on air yesterday and that was her last show. She posted that she was no longer on QVC.

I think the reason why some hosts get farewell parties, etc. is because some leave on their own and others don't.

Albany claimed she left to spend more time with her family.

She is now working for Nick Chavez on QVC in Australia. It doesn't appear she moved there, just that she goes there for shows.

I am not sure how that works.

There was a girl named Patti who I believe was given an alternative, leave or else, following a tete a tete with Dennis Basso (who was definitely being a jaquel). She was given quite a send-off

Lisa Mason may have left on her own the first time but boy did she get an abrupt going away the last time.

I don't believe Lisa R left of her own accord and she was given a very tepid send-off.

Albany may have been very chilly toward HR when she was asked to leave, therefore, no going-away.

Not sure about Jacque. Perhaps she did not want a send-off. She is a very sentimental type. It might have made her cry.
