HOSTS IN NUDE SHOES

I've noticed in fashion magazines, TV and also on Q that even when the host is wearing white pants or white dress, they're in a nude shoe.

I have big feet for a petite & white shoes made them look better. Happy to see an alternative.

Come to think of it, haven't seen many white shoe choices for sale either.

I used to wear nude heels long before anyone did. They were hard to find, but Etienne Aigner used to have a good selection of spike heels, pumps and even strappy sandals.

Nowadays, the only black or dark brown I wear is boots.

Was never a fan of white shoes or even sandals.

@Irish1210. Never loved white shoes and now looks as though women are doing the nude shoe even when wearing black. Think it lengthens the leg.

I much prefer nude heels to white. I think white shoes make my feet look bigger. I wear a size 9, don't need my feet looking any bigger, lol.

I think that nude shoe thing has been around for several years now. I like it. I have a pair of nude pumps, a classic pointy toe patent leather pump that is my "go to" shoe when I dress up. I have two pairs of taupe sandals that are nude-like. I never wear white sandals or white pumps because I wear size 10 shoe and my feet would look like Minnie Mouse feet in white. Nude is so versatile, it works with every color. I do love my summer colored sandals but sometimes, especially with a print outfit, I'd rather go with a nude.

i've been on the hunt for the perfect nude sandal. i have 3 pair, but i don't think they're perfect.

i've bought white shoes & sandals for years and i always returned them. i bought a pair of issacs white sandal determined to wear them. they're not getting any kind of workout! i'm a 8/5 and i knew there was something wrong so maybe it's the big feet thing.

I LOVE a nude shoe. I have several and am always on the hunt for the perfect one as well.

On pair of ankle strap heels I bought last year came pretty close to being exactly what I wanted.

I am not white shoe woman. I do love the nude shoe look. I really love a creamy beige, light taupe or flesh color shoe. Makes the legs look longer even if you are wearing a black dress or skirt. I do wear black flats and pumps a lot but mostly in the winter with opaque black tights.

I'm a short person, 5-3, and wearing a nude or neutral colored shoe helps with the illusion of being taller. When you bring attention to your feet, it somehow makes things seem shorter or appear with less flow to your appearance. In short, it cuts you off.

If you are wearing a skirt or dress, nude shoes make your legs look longer. It's a trick they use especially in beauty pageants when they wear their swimsuits.

@nicks @Shanus Me too. I wear an 11B and white shoes do me no favors. I do think a shoe with cross straps cuts the foot and makes it look a bit smaller.

I am liking the nude shoe more and more. I purchased 2 pair this season. Anything that claims to make my legs look longer is music to my ears.

I do like nude shoes, but I wear a lot of capris and slacks. Sometimes white is just called for.
