IM experts, a question

I am looking with great interest at the 24/7 ankle pant!!

Question: is the petite just shorter in length or is it cut short through the rise as well?

I really want an ankle pant and the regular inseam is pant length or an awkward 'slightly too short' length on me.

I remember Isaac saying once his petite pants are proportioned overall for a petite person and not just the length.

@Abrowneyegirl- If you go to each item (both petite and regular), you can click on the vendor's actual size guide, don't use the QVC sizing (it's generic sizing), and will see each individual size and measurements and can compare the rise.

I'm 5'4" and own both petite and regular. For me, I don't notice a huge difference in the rise. I like the petite for a true ankle pant and the regular are a full length pant. I love the pants and wear them often. Hope this helps!

I am not petite but I will buy anything in petite that works for me because I need a short rise.Cant answer your question about IM petite but I do know his reg rise is too long for me.

@Abrowneyegirl. I think I can help. At 5'1", I should be a petite, but also find the rise too short. I purchase women's capris in my regular size and the length is a perfect ankle pant.

Deduct 2 inches from the listed inseam on 24/7 pants because they're going to shrink. I have many pairs in varying styles and love them. Isaac says they don't shrink, but they do no matter how carefully I wash them.

Are you putting your pants in the dryer? I did that -- one time only -- with my first pair of 24/7s and found that they did shrink in the length. Because the washing instructions say 'tumble dry low' I sent them back for an exchange. I now hang my 24/7s to dry and have no shrinkage problems at all. (and they dry pretty fast)
