LOVING HALSTON

I have been trying a few tops from HALSTON and find them quite stylish, well-fitting and good fabrics. There aren't many "designer fashions" left on Q. Think I'll be trying more HALSTON.

What has been your experiences with this line?

So far I've just bought a pair of sandals from Halston, but I love them and I was thinking of trying some other things.

Halston is one of my favorite lines from QVC. I have purchased a cardigan and few of the tops. I find the quality great and well made. I love plain simple clothes without a lot of print. I think Halston is very classic.

I don't buy many clothing items from QVC anymore since their sizes are so unpredictable and I am tired of having to send things back. I have purchased two midi dresses from Halston, as well as four tops, and I am delighted with the style, fabric and construction. Other than a few things from Isaac Mizrahi these are the only things I have ordered and kept. I find the H by Halston one of the few really quality items I have received (along with the IM) and will definitely watch their shows and purchase again from both Isaac and Halstson.

I bought a gorgette top - love it. So I got a TSV moleskin jacket - also loving it. Just yesterday I received the lace trimmed maxi dress in black. Very pretty - fit perfectly. Can't wait to get it washed so I can wear it. Probably to church this sunday.

Halston has been one of the truly consistent lines on the Q -- both in terms of sizing and quality. I have two dresses and several tops. All top notch, 'go to' items in my closet.

I love it too. I have a few tops, a couple of jackets including the faux suede TSV from last fall, and a few dresses. Everything has been good quality and fairly consistent sizing. I dress up for work so the styles and colors work for me.

I like it too. I have not tried any bottoms, but the tops are nice and in my price range.

Seems like most replies are favorable. Hope that means that his air time will increase & some of the cwap will be traded out. I finally have shows to turn on Q for. Yay!

I've bought two items from Halston: a sweater that I returned and did not like the fabric or shape, and the other which I love, a short sleeve cotton/modal tee shirt. Really cute and priced correctly.

The Q needs a few more fashion designers for those who aren't Quackers or LOGO's.

Isaac's line has gotten a bit boring. His Q team is lazy and they don't really design a collection but just pieces. All the others design a real collection enabling one versatility. Isaac appears lazy just talking about other things b/c he has no real collection, just pieces.

Linea is still desirable. Love Bob Mackey but have no need for his type fashion.

The Anybody Lounge collection is cute; however, it looks great on a well toned body. Without that, kind of sloppy.

It's okay. I did purchase a turtleneck several months ago but there was too much modal for me so I returned it. Right now they are trying to give away one top which is down to $23. There is probably something wrong with the fit. Not to be completely negative, I think they do have some very nice pieces.

Funny to find this thread today as this morning I bought 2 Halston essential tees - different styles and colors and I have a couple more of their tops.....and love Halston....now this is a designer who captures your attention instead of the other nonsense and her "collection" - e.g. SG

I agree- on all points! I find the sizing can be inconsistent though, so I read the reviews and check the 'click here' measurements carefully.

There were cute cross band sandals on lunchtime specials today- I was considering them but sandals can be tricky. THe reviews didn't tell me the full story also! So I passed....

I have not had much luck with this line. Last year I purchased a cowl neck poncho in 3 colors. All of them had major flaws. I expected a bit more for over $75. (each)

I also purchased a water repellant belted poncho for $99 in 2 colors. The material was beyond cheap and the style strange. This week it was a LTS for about $25.
