Prima B top is TDF!

I paid 2 day shipping to get these babies home in blue and black as soon as possible and they just arrived! I'm only 5'2 and the chiffon does drape below my knees but on the black, with black leggings underneath, it just melts away and does not weigh me down or look like I'm wearing my big sister's clothes. The blue I'm not so sure about, might take a taller girl to pull off but I will play with it a bit more before deciding whether or not to keep. The contrast does make a difference but the color is gorgeous!

The fit is GENEROUS. I'm between a small and medium, ordered the small, and know that a medium would have been too big. This piece is very adjustable. The underneath part can be put at exactly the length you need it and it stays. One of the fabulous things about this top is that if you are so inclined, and I am, you can show some cleavage! You don't have to, it easily can be pulled up higher, but I love having the option.

I'm going to wear this to a concert next week under a black leather jacket and am really excited about it. It is completely different than anything I have or have ever had and once again Louis has jolted me out of my comfort zone! Another Winner and so completely unexpected! Color me happy!

I'm so jealous. Mine's still processing. I got the gray to go with the original gray sequin skirt and the gray ponte leggings. I also have the pewter wk skirt, so maybe that would work with it, too. I also have a vintage dove gray ENR wool blend skirt. I can't wait to play!

Ciley, I'm glad you found a winner here! I didn't order, but you know, I was surprised how good these tops looked over pencil skirts. I never would have thought! Enjoy your new pieces!

So glad to hear you love the Prima B top, I ordered it in the Fuchsia , thought that color would look great on me. This is my first purchase from Louis , when I saw this top I could not order it fast enough. I want to give it that bohemian vibe and love the idea with a sequin skirt. I may have to try a few more of his items, I got the medium and I do think it will be a good fit for me. It is a very cool looking top, maybe I should get that Lapis blue too.

It looked so amazing on air on the models, it was no surprise how fast it flew. There won't be another woman at that concert who has anything remotely like it, & I'll bet you get a lot of compliments. Congratulations on such a smart purchase.

It sounds beautiful! I too an in between sizes - and ordered the smaller size - so glad I did after reading your Review! My gray Prima B is still 'In Process' - am very excited to receive it!

njlady, I am short but not skinny! lol Believe me there is ample stretch, and not cling stretch to accommodate our fluffiness!

i received mine about 1/2 an hour ago and tried them on.....they are keepers! i LOVE the lower neckline. it is just so much more flattering than some of the modified necklines, especially in an item such as this.

the fit for me was perfect all over, fitted, but not too tight. i would say if you are in between sizes then you can probably size down. it even works well over my hips.

i bought the lapis which is gorgeous and the not-so-basic black. i cannot wait to wear these with capris/crops/pedal pushers. the material feels so nice (one reason why i am a big fan of rayon). it can easily be upscale casual during the day OR casual chic for going out at night. the styling makes it perfect for big chunky jewelry (bring on that palm frond necklace!)

i hope he continues to bring some non-classic, "different" pieces because those are the items i am looking for the most.

(still waiting on my boyfriend cardigan and wk tank in the red that shipped out today)

How does the sheer chiffon part of the garment float over your chosen bottom piece? Does it cling against certain fabrics like a knit legging? I really don't want to be pulling it off the skirt or legging constantly. I hope it moves nicely! TIA

I'm going to try the black tunic (if it fits) with a Joan Rivers black lace skirt, the gray faceted beads and matching earrings. Like Cheryl, I'm hoping that the chiffon doesn't stick to the lace. I'd like to wear the gray tunic more casually with my WWC slim leg charcoal pants, the multi cross necklace and earrings in silver and black lace ballet flats.

Ciley, thank you so much for your review! At 5' 3", I've been stressing about how it would look on me. I agree that on us shorter women, the monochromatic look will be most flattering. As you've told me before, you are going to ROCK that outfit at the concert.

Here's a quick trick to keep things from clinging. Rub some hand lotion on your hands--- not a lot as you don't want to deposit on the fabric---then rub your hands on the inside of the fabric and it won't cling to the underneath fabric. I do it a lot on skirts when I don't want the fabric to cling to my tights. It works, but again, less is more--you don't want lotion stains on you clothes---especially the chiffon.

What a great tip. I will have to try that next time I put on one of my skirts w/ tights.
