They measure 6-1/2 x 6 and I was able to put my entire hand in them while spreading my fingers. It obliterates your shape. I measured the Denim &amp; Co back pockets and they are an inch smaller in both width and length. The Motto back pockets are great as they have a nice taper and are a bit smaller than Denim &amp; Co.</P> <P>Obviously, the reason for the enormous patch pockets is to hide that part of ones anatomy. It doesn't work for all sizes though. I don't need my backside to disappear....not flattering in the least. Until Qvc comes to its senses I won't be purchasing jeans here.
