Am I too short for the Boyfriend Cardigan at just under 5'4'?

I'm afraid it will make my legs appear short. I try to stay away from looks that chop me up. A monochromatic look is best for me to make me appear taller than I am. Any other "height challenged" women ordering it? I do so want it, but......

I wouldn't think it would be too long for you. Can you grab a measuring tape to see where it would hit on you?

Looking at it on the models, I think it would be great on a shorter person with a pencil skirt!

I'm 5'3" and ordered two. I also have the violet acrylic/wool blend one from a few months ago and love it. I wear these to elongate my short waisted self. As long as i wear a shoe with a heel over 2 inches, it looks fine. I'm disproportionately hippy, so this long a sweater smooths over the "assets". But a heel is a must.

Sheesh wear it over a skirt that is no longer than your knees or over leggings. You can totally pull it off.

Totally agree! It is all in the proportion and what you wear with these sweaters. I'm short too with assets and love his long cardis.

You petite Lineaputians are so lucky because Louis is totally partial to you when he designs. This is sort of cardigan- SHAPED AND it's a soft KNIT jacket, plus, it has a ZIPPER! If you are petite, proportions really are important, JIMHO. I don't have any of the Ponte Knit jackets yet, but I ordered this in Navy and I'm hoping it's beautifully finished on the inside, as most of Lineas things are.

I'm 5'4 too and love the look of a long cardi. I don't think it makes me look any shorter and lots of times I'd wear flats. So I say go for it if you find one (or two) that you love!

You need attitude. Louis said we petite ladies should wear it with short skirts or leggings. That's what I intend to do. And I will wear it open. (And I'm 5ft 2in)

I'm the same height as you & I avoid boyfriend cardigans & everything else that long. I have no interest in looking short. The way I dress helps me look taller & people tend to be surprised when they hear how tall I am.

I'm 5'2'' on a good day. I am very long waisted and look better with shorter tops. I don't wear leggings because the last time they were around years ago people told me I looked like an elf.Of course the pointed toe shoe boots didn't help.

I think it's all in the you're proportioned when it come to lengths. And Louis can't please everyone with every item. I have to shorter sleeves on jackets and hem all my pants. I can't wear petites because the rise is too short.

But I have friends my height who would great in that sweater. It is a lovely item.

I'm 5'4" and a year of so ago IM had a TSV that looked so good, long cardi in a tone on tone look. I ordered 4 of them. I don't button these and I thought I looked pretty good - UNTIL - a picture was taken of me and I looked like a bowling ball! Too late to return, so they are religated to my "knock around the house" sweaters. What an expensive lesson.

However, I bought the invory because it seems impossible to find an ivory cardi and sweaters that don't have bling or flowers on them. Because it is such a classic look I think it will be fine.

I also have his violet long sweater and that is very becoming to I am hopeful! I wear either a small or medium depending on what it is so i went with medium on this one. Fingers crossed all that I ordered are keepers.
