topic Wanted: Mens Jeans That Are NOT "Skinny" Jeans! in Fashion

My oldest son works in construction, unheated/unair-conditioned bldgs, and has to wear a company logo t-shirt/button-up shirt on the job. His job involves a LOT of climbing, squatting, crawling, etc.

Thus, he needs (and personally prefers) what used to be called "straight leg" jeans, you know, not pleated like dress pants, but the same width on the legs from the top of the inseam to the ankle.

Well, those are not in style now, and he spent hrs yesterday trying to locate some - Kohl's, Macy's, everywhere. And the ones by Dickies, Carhartt, etc., are made in very hot/heavy fabric, plus still not as loose-fitting as he wants.

He's mid-30s, and these jeans were in style when he was in HS. But surely not everyone's wearing what he views as "girly" jeans, you know, the ones like Marc Bouwer wears.

Any suggestions??

TIA.
