From Pendleton- a double breasted wool dress. ($269)

When I looked for a larger image of the Pendleton dress, this one also popped up, from Brooks Brothers. ($798)

Will you be embracing the double breasted dress this spring?

It's their Wool-Lin (TM) fabric- ultralight, linen-like pure virgin wool (dry clean only, of course).

I kind of like them, but they're too long in these photos! I think they should be above the knee. I think they impart a polished, professional look.

Since I only go to the Drs and out to eat, I don't think either of them care about me wearing a $300 dress!

I haven't worn a dress since the 70's.

I've always loved double-breasted jackets on men. I think it's a good look, period! Those dresses don't really fit my lifestyle, but I like them.

I love the look, It's so classy and just my style. I also love Pendleton clothing. I own a few pieces already.

I won't be buying because I don't wear dresses. I like dresses, I just don' t go anywhere where I need to wear one.

I wore dresses like that in the early 1990's so I will not be revisiting that look. I doubt that that dress is a trend, rather it's a style that women who wear classic clothes wear. And wool....good heavens, never in life would I wear a wool dress.

i like the brooks brothers dress the most. of course it's the most expensive. lol

i think this is better well suited as business attire. i don't think i would wear it outside of the office.

I don't personally care for them, but military is "in" and this is the less agressive example. Pendleton has always been known for traditional wear.

Pendleton isn't made in Pendleton, Oregon anymore. I bet this dress is made in China.

Love vintage! Pendleton!! Differcult finding. Couple times came across winter coats or men's classic wool plaid shirt.

I had a dress like that in 7th grade, (we could not wear pants yet), light blue double breasted. It was pretty amazing at the time

I actually like the Brooks Brothers dress. I like classic dressing, however, I won't have any need for something like this.

Double-breasted anything makes short people look shorter. I avoid it.
