How 'bout we start off the new year with some new designers? QVC definitely needs to expand their horizons! There are people that like to buy something other than "liquid knit". Get Isaac and Lori on the schedule more and give Susan a break! Something fresh for 2014....

Susan isn't going anywhere. The Q owns her line. No middleman..more profits. Her prices are high imo.

I suppose that works for some, but not for me. I buy very little, but I know what looks good on me and it won't ever again be edgy designer. That's too bad because I love the colors of Logo and I like some of Isaac's prints. For me to buy, QVC needs to continue to show lots of Susan.

For price comparison - yesterday from Nordies, I bought a Susan-type top. Paid full price because the one color that looked good on me was already selling out and I could pretty well predict which colors will last until they hit the clearance rack. Anyway - $58 plus tax- more than anything I've ever spent for Susan's tops, but like Susan's I expect the cost per wearing will end up being less than a cheap top I might buy elsewhere.

Yes, I'd like to see some new designers. Why not give some of the younger designers a chance?

I still like Bob, Linea and so on. Where did they go? Good grief! I am amazed at how much SG is on the TV. She must have her own bedroom there. Seriously, it is amazing! I don't know what kind of vitamins she takes but sign me up for some!

I don't mind watching her (although it does drive me crazy when she talks and the Host talks at the same time).

We also need some other lines of clothing. I am tired of Denim and Co. My lifestyle is more like their clothes, but I enjoy watching all clothing lines.

When I leave my house I look like I'm going to work. I dress nicely. No dresses, but not sweat clothes. My friends tease me about what they call 'dressed up'. I just want to feel good about myself.

So, yes, more designers and more clothing lines like QVC had a few years ago. Why don't you (QVC) offer more clothes for the young woman (or women in the ages of 40, 50 and 60 and so on) who don't always want leisure clothes.

Ladies post here some of the lines they used to offer. I have some of them but can't remember them right now. Thanks.

They know their demographic for clothing and it's the older customer that likes all that polyester and non fitted, non fashion forward offerings. Q offers what they sell the most and sadly, it's the plastic mumu overpriced SG clothes.

QVC is a business. I doubt that any of the malcontents who post on the forums are large shareholders of QVC stocks. It would be naïve to think that QVC would cater to the demands of perhaps less than 1% of all their customers, when the other 99% are satisfied.

The company does change some of its vendors from time to time, as others have pointed out. It makes sense for them to keep the winners.

Why is it so difficult for some people to understand that?

Of course they do. I can't imagine any other designer who would be scheduled for every other show in a single day. And two of them were two-hour shows. They may get a lot of sales that way, but they also lose customers . . . I am one of them.

It's the bottom line . . . always.

I understand it, as my post just stated. That doesn't mean I have to like it.

So, easy . . . QVC is just not on my "favorites" list anymore and I'm sure it matters not one whit to them if this whole BB quit watching. We are peanuts to them.

Mattresses, Dyson vacs, VitaMix machines, computers and/or tablets? Maybe another LOGO tee shirt or some bootie shakin pants. There's always WEN or Ripka or Philosophy. Might as well give her a TSV every week. It's all monotonous anyway. Same old same old.

Bridget, your post made me think. The level of emotion that people bring to QVC shopping speaks to the power of their model. Q has succeeded in making a personal connection to many viewers. It amazes me when folks continually comment on their ongoing and growing disappointment. I don't shop at Talbots -- I have no issue with them -- they just don't carry the clothing items for me. I would not give over two seconds of energy to being upset that they don't suit my taste. However, many viewers really do expect QVC to meet their needs. It's gotten personal on some level.

Exactly so.

Another emotional problem here is that some customers feel that Susan Graver is their personal tailor! All of her garments are manufactured to be sold off the rack, and she does an excellent job with them. However, everyone's body is different, and most women accept the fact that purchasing a garment off the rack may require some alterations to accommodate individual body differences.

Why does anyone complain that the garment does not fit them perfectly, and furthermore saying, directly or indirectly, that it is Susan Graver's fault and that she needs to make it just so for them! Hello!? She is not your personal tailor!

Into what clothing store would you walk and make such a demand -- that the designer needs to change the garment measurements to fit you personally? This is not a logical expectation!

I want to see more of Joan Rivers clothing as well as Bob Mackie. There used to be more clothing lines on QVC, but they no longer on.

Well Isaac is going to have a second weekly show added to Fridays. Starting Jan 31 he will be on at 1pm on Fridays as well as his Mondays slot! Yay!

The 'few' of us who don't like or buy the SG line are miniscule in comparison to the MILLIONS of dollars she brings to QVC. She is not going anywhere. I never have watched a full SG show, only enough to know her clothes are not for me and she could drive a saint to madness.
