I'm not great at mixing up different patterns. But this is super cute. Do you mix them?

Not super expensive. Jacket from Banana Republic. Blouse from Frame and jeans from MOTHER

That's very cute! The only time I've mixed patterns is when something's been shown that way in the store. I have only done it a couple of times.

@songbird@NickNackYes, it's very nice. The secret to achieving a look of harmonyis to match the colors. Strips are an easy element to work with. A stripe and a floral could also be used. The stripe is the easiest element to work with.

I prefer two prints. Three is too much.

Also you might want to go to You Tube and look at Ralph Lauren Winter 2016 Runway Show. He's a master in print mixing!

Men have always done this with suits and ties.

If you pull the items out of your closet that have the same colors you might be inspired.
