I think I overdid the shopping during last Monday's clearance sales. UPS just notified me that I have 15 packages being delivered tomorrow. Yikes! That sets some kind of record for me. Wouldn't mind if the Q had been a little less efficient in shipping this time. Spread them out a bit.

If you can afford them, enjoy them. If not, pick out what you want and send the rest back. Enjoy trying them on. Don't beat yourself up.

K..it is easy to get caught up in the excitement of sales. I've been putting things in the cart or on checks instead of speed buy. Be patient and kind with yourself, you can return what you don't absolutely love. Life is always a lesson. Have fun with your purchases!

I checked my order status and I have 17 coming. That should get the neighbors worked up. I don't understand why they are so interested in what hubby and I do. Any thoughts on that?

This last weekend one of my neighbors had another truck-full of brand new furniture delivered...for the fifth time in two months! I'm thinkin'...where the heck are they putting all that furniture??!! LOL!

I think most people are just curious about their neighbors...I am anyway.

@Kachina624 I hope you can hear me laughing out loud all the way by you after reading this post . . . I remember the days when I would come home and have a mountain of goodies from wherever waiting for me . . . those days are over but I still remember one early morning pulling out of the garage in the rain and seeing a mountain of garment packages from QVC that must have been delivered very late at night . . . thank goodness they were all there (or I guess no one was very interested in my CitiKnits) . . .

@Kachina624. Many of us have been there. I mind only when they are purchases that I do not need or really want. I now use my wish list and do not rush to buy. My buying practices have been curbed alot by prices higher than I pay locally and the quality of the products received. While working 2 jobs I thought I did not have time to shop. Since retiring I have slowed down all buying. I enjoy buying gifts and I get needed exercise when I go "hunting" for the perfect gift. Amy is right. It is the thrill of the hunt. For me locating the perfect gift at a terrific price is my new high. Susie O is also right with her idea of cost per use. If you got what you want, it is of very good quality and the price is right then you should be happy. Enjoy. Thank you for sharing your pictures of the balloon festival. Occasionally a single balloon will go over my house when the wind is right. They are beautiful.

I think I just did the same thing this morning ... I saw these Dennis Basso faux fur puffer coats at a one day reduced price ($70 off) and I just couldn't resist. Problem was I couldn't decide on the color ... all black, brown reversible, or cream reversible. I made a case for all three ... although sanity may prevail by later today.

Many years ago i worked afternoons...i got home around 11:30pm...one night i came home and the UPS man had stacked up all my goodies along the back door..so high and so wide i couldn't even see that door...

I was exhausted after working a 9 hour day...and now i had to lug in all those boxes....at midnight...to say i was not happy that night....but it was fun opening all of them the next day....

I really shouldn't mind what others think but, I do. Since I've been shopping more online these past few months the UPS truck is at my house often. Once, I made mention of all my deliveries to the UPS driver and he was nice to respond, "this is my job". QVC would advise, he needs a holiday gift from me!

I know when the trucks are in my neighborhood without even seeing or hearing them. I just wait for my dog's ears to perk up and then she runs to the front door! She's the perfect tracking device ever.

I went on a music bender at Amazon about a month or so ago. Some things were coming from Amazon, some things were coming from individual sellers in and out of the country. I was like a kid in a candy store. There was a little something in my mailbox or on my porch for weeks :-)

Because of my birds, I don't travel or leave them. So, I like music and shoes.

I have no credit card debt and the house is almost paid off 7 years early.

Let it rain down the packages, lol.

The mail carrier must be thinking this person needs a life. Still, QVC should pack more items into one big box.

My dogs hear the UPS truck blocks away, too. They get really worked up as if he's coming to take our possessions rather than deliver new ones.
