@millieshops. I was pregnant twice in the 60s and I never dressed to hide my baby belly. They did not have skinny tees back then but I think they would have felt to tight over my "basketballs". I was high, round and out in front with both. Skinny tees that do not cover a stomach and jeans that don't cover the crack does not mean you are pregnant in my town of about 30,000 college students and younger. Tight clothes that don't fit are daily sights and they are not worn just by young people. They are something we have had to accept because there are few dress codes. A grown woman at the college I worked at wore a "uniform" of bicycle shorts and a man's tshirt. HR said our director had to allow it as it was not forbidden. He took a good look at her job description and selected tasks done only in the office for her to do on her " uniform days" so she had no reason to leave the office except lunch and breaks. She was not happy but she could not do anything about it. People can dress as they like. Other people can express their opinions as they like. You will see many styles in my town whether you are pregnant or not. By the way, in the 60s we did not lose our jobs when we got pregnant. Our jobs were held for us while we took maternity leave. My husband's boss gave him a few days to bring us home and help the family settle into a schedule.

Skin tight clothes on anyone (pregnant or not) look uncomfortable; they may not be but it LOOKS like it is. You choose to wear something because of how it makes you look when you go out; though there are many opinions whether that's true or not.

I don't care if you want to show off your huge belly when pregnant. I don't know why you'd want to (I've been pregnant many times; my skin and belly were NOT attractive in ANY way after the first) but whatever. In the end, looking attractive is the ultimate goal and Amy achieved it long ago. : )
