I think beauty and fun of fashion is that YOU get to style your clothes any way you want to. I love Qvc fashions because I can mix and match things and come up with my own unique outfits. I tend to buy things in a specific color range or in neutrals and I have fun creating different looks. You are on the right track....

I mix LOGO with SG, Attitudes by Renee (ABR) and Chico's. I don't want anything to stick to anything else.

My layers alternate ... slippery/sticky/slippery/etc Even my pants ... if I'm wearing "sticky" pants, my first top layer has to be slippery.

What's the point of wearing clothing that is drapey and moves when I walk if the layers are going to stick to each other.

Hey, @ALRATIBA,I like the slippery/sticky alternation principle. You are right, and what I like about wearing layers is the feeling of the fabrics sliding across each other. I'm just getting started playing with this idea (because the fabrics are thin enough to allow it)j, but mostly what I've done so far has been slippery/slippery! So now, I'll try more of the alternation.

How about this for principle #2? No more than 2 sleeves at the same time. If I layer more than two items, all but 1 or 2 need to be sleeveless (or maybe really, really thin, like chiffo.

How about some more "principles of layering?"

@luv-the-Q Yeah, I can see adding Halston, though I don't have any of that line. I did just pull a Linea kimono, printed chiffon type, and put it on top of one of my Logo tanks. That worked, and I'm glad because I didn't really have much to wear the Linea one with.

I feel like I just got a lot of new clothes from making new outfits. Fun!

More "principles:"

#3: Nothing stiff, nothing bulky

#4: Wovens, unless sheer weight, only for the top layer, or for trims.

(Not that there are really any rules!)
