Today was the first day Diane did the knit jeans with the French terry inside.

She said that she was one of the first to use this material...other manufacturers were lining up at the factories, but she got there first!

But Angel just gave the history of DreamJeans and said that Jeanne Bice invented them (knit jeans) YEARS ago...

This is too hilarious! Either way, it is a pair of jeans for us aging women, made out of French terry. I don't really think it is any great shakes that Diane's version contains rayon and polyester. They were both late to the party after whomever came up with the pajama jeans concept.

Don't the Dream Jeans contain lots of spandex? Maybe that's what Diane means…technically it is different if hers has 1%. I am looking forward to the DG2 TS reviews.

Hello everyone. I'm new to this bulletin board thing, but had to comment on this thread. I've been a fan of QF for a long time. There were QF stretch denim jeans - embellished of course- long before there were DreamJeannes. The DreamJeannes are not denim, but are cotton, spandex, a reverse french terry and very comfortable. I don't know what "pajama jeans" are. I'm sorry if y'all don't like QF, but there's a lot of embellished fashion now, and Jeanne Bice did it before most everyone else. Quack quack and good night.

ColdWater Creek has been selling knit jeans for years that have the French terry inside. I've owned a pair for I cannot even remember how long.

Does QF sell the same style of jean that Diane's Cozy jeans are .......... leggings/jeggings type? I wasn't aware of QF selling that style but will admit, QF is not a line I follow much.

They are different in fabric content and that can make a significant difference in comfort level when wearing as well as how they hold up and how well they fit. I do like rayon in blends like this .......... personal preference.

I do agree with the above poster who mentioned that QF has never sold anywhere close to the volume in one day or even one weekend that DG does. In December, I think her TSV bordered 100,000 in sales for that day and this weekend, her new cozy went over 65,000. I would say that indicates quite a following for Diane and obviously there are a few customers who really like her jeans.

There were dozens of Dream Jeans at the Lancaster QVC outlet yesterday- LOTS of Quacker in general. Any Quacker fans who live in the vicinity- you'll have a field day at the outlet right now!

QF sells Dream Jeans in various styles including a 5 pocket bootcut, leggings, etc. The fabric content is 96% cotton, 4% spandex. The How Comfy by D&C line is the exact same fabric content. I know at one point Jeanne said all the QF denim bottoms were made by D&C so it wouldn't surprise me if the dream jeans and how comfy aren't the same, just different labels on them.

So to answer your question, the DG fabric content is different.

The ones I own from CWC are also only cotton/spandex.

I considered getting those DG2 jeans to wear for pj's, but they were too expensive for that. I'm glad I didn't since I swore off of this line due to poor quality. I need to remember that! Ugh.

Diane G's last two TSV's (the stretchable's(can't recall it's exact name) and the cozy) both contain rayon which none of the jeans sold on QVC have in their fabric content. While some may think that's no biggie, I love rayon for how it looks and how it feels. The combos of poly, cotton, spandex and cotton, spandex have been around for a long time but I think the point Diane was trying to make was her addition of rayon to jeans.

I have not previously seen any jeans line with rayon added ............... dress pants, yes, but not jeans.

And the person from it cosmetics working for "years," sweating and slaving, to develop a stain/lipstick that everybody else has in their line, too. Only Mally had the guts to say it - there are only two stains used in cosmetics, and everyone uses the same one. I know many criticize her for her outlandish statements and behavior, but sometimes she is quite honest.
