Fashion Day Disappointing

I just checked out the list of new products for today. There are 27 products and many of them are food items. Where are the new pieces of clothing? It looks as though my credit card will be safe for today. I guess that's not a bad thing! 😇

I was hoping for some more new items from Isaac than are shown (especially cute short sleeve summer tops) since it is his TSV day.

There were several Clearance shows overnight too -- on a "Fashion" Day??

Also disappointed to see 3 hours of food. Blechhhhh!

Wondered if Issac is the only designer on today? Maybe Logo later?

I think retail is really slow and people aren't bringing their wares to QVC. Is everyone waiting to bring fall merchandise?

Seems odd to me.

I think "Fashion Day" just means that there is a lot of fashion programming on that day. It's not meant to be the big introduction of fashion for a new season or anything like that.

Thanks, jonbon -- you are probably right. They used to have a "Fashion Day" every 3 months or so for the upcoming season. Guess that has changed.

Maybe Fashion Day should be renamed Xcel Brands fashion day. It's been all Xcel brands mostly on including Liz Claiborne clearance (they must still have lots of inventory left to get rid of), Halston, C. Wonder, and of course Isaac Mizrahi who has the TSV. Throw in Marc Fisher shoes into the mix along with the Xcel brand shoes Fisher manufactures and it's an Xcel fiesta!

Do you mean you think today is Fashion Day? I just looked at the QVC front page and there's nothing there about that. In fact, I thought that had already happened a few weeks ago.

Seems Q drastically changed. Fashion day only one area. Realize nothing stays the same, Glad I remember the, Good ole days. Gone but not forgotten.
