I don't think one needs to know the specifics of the model when they can peruse the garment size chart using their own measurements.

I do, however, think it's nice to see the garments on different body types. The Q may have many models of different heights and weights but they're strangely lacking in models with hips!

Maybe extra work but I took notes on the info when I first saw this on a SG late show several weeks ago. I an XL and 5ft 4in,inseam 30in. My inseam and chest do not allow me to order a petite. I have added to this info as I hear it. I can look at the model closest to me to help me know if the garment is true to size. I am tired of paying for returns when I have made a purchased based on the size measurements given by QVC[on air and on line] and the garment I receive does not fit and would require more than a simple hem. Today I noticed that the 5ft 9in models att said they had on a 31in inseam and a tall inseam was available. Meredith who is promoted as a petite model at 5ft 2.5in often has a reg length pant on, not a petite when available. I am watching for a "plus" model who is under 5ft 9in. Rebecca is 5fy 8in tall and had on a XL. Dark hair Maria is 5ft 8in and had on a XL 16 top and bottom. There have been times when a model has different sizes top and bottom. No wonder as consumers we have trouble finding a proper fit.

I am 5' 10" and need to know the length of tops, jacets and dresses. QVC has some models who are much shorter and most items are made for women who are shorter. It is very rare that they tell you the length, so if you know the height of the model, it does help.

The size charts indicate what size will fit but not where it will fall lengthwise. Many of the tops and jackets they offer will not even reach my belly button. Skirts that fall above the knee on a tall model will be the same for me..but some of their models are average height.
