New year's Resolution

I will try on my purchases the day they arrive. If I love them I will keep and possibly order a second color. If i do not love the item I will not keep it hoping to fall in love eventually. I will return it right away. What is you new year's resolution.

I'm stealing yours to begin with and adding a vow to buy one or two colorful pieces this year. I love my navy, black, white, burgundy but when summer rolls around and the new WK pieces appear, I'm taking the plunge. I still can't bring myself to buy much that patterned, but would a bit of pink or lilac kill me? I think not!

I need to move away from just black, black and more black.

Last year I did buy some of the aqua Linea items and I do have a penchant for robin's egg blue as it looks so good w/ my blonde hair.

This spring I'm going to try to limit my purchases to basics that are not black. I know I'm going to go for the new red linea ponte jacket and boyfriend cardi and the white WK tank (and I hope cardigan) and I need a 'nice' pair of white jeans that are in a nice 'heavy' gauge of denim (I no like the see thru white). And I think I need one more long spring/summer maxi skirt.

And really that's all I really need.

For me it will be adding more color and not just my usual neutrals and black. I need more peacock and fuschia!

I am going to be more selective so I do not have as many returns as I had last year. Also plan on purchasing more at B&M stores even though I hate shopping!

I need to make room in my closet for new Linea (no point in resolving to not buy anything new--I will not make it to Jan. 15 on that one!) SOOOOO… I resolve to sell some of my like new Linea that I cannot bear to give away on ebay this year so I won't feel so much pain in parting with some of my oldies but goodies.

I agree with more color in my wardrobe. I have grown quite bored with black. Which I really can't believe I'm saying!!! Black was my all time go to and loved it color. Over the past year to 18 months I (gasp!) have become attracted to browns--saddle brown, lighter natural browns, luggage browns, sand browns. This is is so very odd for me. Anyone else feeling this change happening to them?
