Faux leather and wrinkles...

How do I get the wrinkles out of my faux leather jacket? I just received a jacket from the Q but it is wrinkled. I'd like to wear it this weekend but am unsure how to get the wrinkles out...thanks.

wow that's a good question! obviously you can't iron polyurethane...maybe steam?

Steam is what I was thinking too...I was just afraid to try it until someone told me they had done the same thing!

I haven't actually tried it but it seemed the logical choice. I have 2 faux leather jackets and I just can't picture what it would take to put a crease in either! They're dense yet suppley soft, I can't imagine them wrinkling. I do know that you can hand wash at least one of them so I would think steam couldn't hurt..

I have steamed faux leather with excellent results. I have also placed the item in the dryer for a few minutes and lost the wrinkles.

I just tried the steaming...not much luck. I will try the dryer along

The wrinkles are from packaging....I tried steam and the dryer....wrinkles are a little less but still there, sigh.......
