Yes. Not all lace skirts go with all lace jackets, but you can absolutely mix leather and lace.

I love the look, too, and have two or three lace skirts that I pair with several leather jackets. Yes, the Over the Hill Gang can pull it off very well with the correct pieces.

As if most of us look like Helen Mirren, esp. at age 70. I never looked that good at age 30! Helen Mirren would wear that red bikini in her then-mid-to-late-60s in her famous photograph. I would not.

As long as your lace item is a cut which looks good on you and ditto for the cut of the leather jacket there is no cut off age for wearing leather and lace.

Why not? I'm more likely to go the other way, leather skirt and lacy top. A good mix either way.

It certainly can but it depends on the skirt and the jacket. oh, and the wearer. It's modern way of dressinb but it you aren't comfortable with the look, it won't work on you.

I guess I should have posted this picture of the outfit I wore a few weeks ago on a Sunday. It was one of my black leather skirts with a leather trim lace jacket that I got for Christmas. Got compliments, too, which makes it nice.
