What would YOU wear to the Academy Awards?

If you were going to be at the Academy Awards (you can be a guest, presenter, award recipient, whatever), what would you wear?

I thought I'd wear this when I collect my expected award for best supporting actress. I'd add a soft white shirt, in the Sharon Stone manner, tied at the waist:

This emerald green Versace beauty that Scarlett Johanssen wore to last year's Oscars. I would wear a smaller necklace though, with an emerald solitaire surrounded by diamonds.

The dresses below are from Neiman Marcus and $2000+.

The one above is $12,990, the most expensive of the bunch. Oscar de la Renta.

Seriously, I don't know what I would wear but, speaking of George, I know exactly what I would not wear. That is, homemade long white evening gloves that are much too large and baggy. Awful!

Love the sheer one IF it were lined. I'm so over revealing.

Your award accepting is really pretty! LOVE the strap treatment. Would have preferred the Gold/copper were silver.
