Who'd like to see more cotton and less rayon for spring/summer Logo?

No matter how gorgeous Lori's materials are, I always perfect cotton....or cotton/modal....I'm hot all the time. I love the layered look, but if I have any chance of layering in warmer weather, I need more cotton. Please Lori?? I LOVE your clothes!

Cotton/modal was the first garment I ordered from Lori ... and it's still my personal favorite ... the fibers are more substantial than her rayon/span blend. I order up one size when buying LOGO cotton clothing.

I much prefer the rayon for summer as opposed to cotton. Yes, the cotton breathes a tiny bit better but it also absorbs the perspiration and stays wet longer while the rayon wicks it away from your body and it dries quickly.

I agree and I personally found the rayon cooler because of it's wicking properties and it has a cool touch.

I also like cotton/modal fabric. Lori originally brought most of her line in that fabrication and then changed.

I like all of the fabrics in her line but would like to see more of cotton/modal.

ITA I much prefer the rayon spandex. Sometimes the modal is ok, but I like the rayon. Her rayon is so lightweight that it can be worn year round. I'm not a fan of 100% cotton. A bit of spandex in a lightweight top of hers would make it acceptable.

I don't really like all cotton items. They seem to not hold their shape and can be on the thicker side.

The Logo line is way overpriced. The shows are such super-hype and hard sell that I have a hard time watching. Two tops I purchased have not held up. Recently, against my better judgement, I ordered a "slub knit" TSV. It looked like a slob knit, all wrinkled on arrival with no shape. I know there are Logo fans, and a layering piece here and there is fine, but for me, Logo is mostly the emperor's new (overpriced) clothes.

I really only replied and moved this thread to the top again because the original poster was looking for cotton items in LOGO.

I want some tank tops in a cotton/modal or cotton/rayon or even a nylon/rayon blend would be alright as long as we get them! What do we have to do, to get some longer tanks with a chiffon trim, that is 27-28-29 inches long? Why is it so hard to bring that to us? I don't get why she's dragging her feet on bringing us tanks like this. Her tanks are popular, and they always sell out.....so SMH as to why the buyers won't bring us some longer tanks with trim.

I do think her items are pricy--especially with s/h and tax added in. I'd buy even more if they were less expensive. But, I continue buying as I really like a lot of her styles. And, I've seen similar items in a few boutiques that were not really as nice and were $90 or so. I bought a 100% Fresh Produce 3/4 sleeve top recently at a boutique when I was in Florida, and it was $68!! I was not wanting to spend it, but I loved the bright pink shade. So, it's probably all relative.

But, I do agree--her items are not cheap.

And AMP--ITA--some LONGER lace and chiffon and ruffled bottom tanks!!!!! These new ones are darling and WAY too short for me with a semi-long torso. Geez Louise…we've been asking for longer ruffled-bottom ones for a few years. Does she not read the reviews or boards ever???

No, cotton needs something in it to stop it from bagging out. I have a 100% cotton top by D&C that I LOVE but by the end of the day, it is completely stretched out. And altho I'm not much of Lori G fan, I do love the addition of the chiffon at the hem of things.

The only tops I want to buy going forward are 95% rayon/5% spandex...love, love, love that fabric. The way it looks and especially the way it feels on my skin.

I love cotton, and, in theory, it may be a tiny bit more comfortable for summer; however, although I'm not overweight, I do have a small "love handle" along my lower back and anything cotton is way too clingy. I HAVE to layer if I wear a cotton tee to conceal that and I am just too hot in summer to even consider that so I need something a little heavier to glide across and hang nice. Just my opinion.

My favorite items for summer, actually for any season, have to have some percentage of cotton in the material or else it is not comfortable enough for me. There are some beautiful cotton blended materials that are cool to wear, launder well and are beautiful to the eye.

That is what I am looking for.

I agree w/first post w/most designers. I don't mind some lycra,etc in my fashions but I do still prefer mostly natural fibers-especially since I have a problem w/being "hot & noticeably sweaty" due to some of my back meds & a lot of the synthetic fibers make it worse....

FYI, several of the new LOGO tops are cotton/modal or cotton/rayon.
