If you have skinny tees, please tell me if they really do fit larger women. They say they do, but never show the largest models in them! Jackie wears them, but she's a large.

I just received a set but haven't had a chance to try them on. They are definitely very stretchy and aren't as small as I thought they would be. I tested one and it measures flat 14" wide, but I can easily stretch it past 25", so doubled, it stretches from 28-50" at least. I'll let you know what I think. Just wanted you to know someone will be able to answer your question.

Well here's the skinny, I am 5'3", 69 yrs old, 155 lbs, size 14, and needless to say carry my weight in my middle. Having said that I did not order when they were the TSV because I too really wasn't sure so I went and ordered just one, in black. They are definitely NOT a shaper and I would never wear this on it's own and yes it does go over all the lumps and bumps. The models have no problem loving this their all thin.

Will I wear this every day probably not but it does fill a need. It's nice if you have a low cut t-shirt as a filler and under a cardigan and a shirt that's not long enough. It does give you a "gentle hug" as stated by the vendor. It does make me have better posture (don't ask me why). I'm still on a learning curve with this skinny, I will keep it but I will not be ordering more. Hope this helps everyone out there.

Thanks, FloridaPet. Here's my skinny. I'm 5'2" and a 1x/2x depending on the brand. I just put a Skinny tee on, over my head and pulled it down below my hips. I agree with FloridaPet, it's not a shaper. The Skinny tee doesn't compress but it does sort of smooth things out a little and is very comfortable. It is a very fine gauge ribbed knit. If I had known that I would have ordered long ago. Ribbed knit stretches more than jersey. I've tried my LOGO rayon/span tops over it and they don't cling.

I agree with FloridaPet again about better posture and don't understand it either. I won't wear them alone or in 90 degree weather, but I will definitely keep and use this set and might go back for another set.

Hope that knowing that at least 2 of us curvy gals can wear Skinny Tees helps some.

I am 5'4" and weigh about 174. I have bought only the skinnytees with sleeves. I am satisfied with the fit as a layering piece ONLY, and for that purpose, I love them. I sort of mold them into place and they stay put. I could pull them down to my ankles I think. I buy PLUS or Woman's size only, not misses. I am about 38D, 32 1/2" waist, VERY long waisted. I usually wear M or L in typical Q wear. HTH

Define larger... I'm a size 16/18, I wear a 38C bra and my Skinnytees fit me just fine. In fact, I'm wearing one now. They are very stretchy and nice and long. They would work for a size 20, probably not for anyone bigger than that. And you have to be well proportioned, at any size. I can't see anyone with a big belly or love handles wearing them.

The first time this item was a TSV I ordered 4 sets. They clearly stated that these are

not shaping garments. They are for layering. I wear them all the time. I am 5'4" and carry my weight in my middle. I usually top the skinnytee with something from LOGO or D&C. I like

the way I can lengthen the tee so if I need it to be a little longer, I just pull it down. If I can

wear it shorter, I adjust it just where I need the length. There are not many garments

you can do this with. I got the new colors a few weeks ago. I am happy I have a selection

to pick from - works with all my other tops.

I hope you enjoy the skinny tees. I am not s fan of the material and had terrible pilling issues. For me, I classify it as one of the worst purchases that I never returned. They are in a landfill somewhere. We used them as rags in the garage and then the DH tossed them. Not snark...seriously hated them. I know that I am very much in the minority.

At one time you had a choice in the skinny tees. You could choose o-s or plus size. On air they showed there was a big difference between the plus size and the one size fits all/most. When it was the TSV, I was very surprised they did not offer the plus, also.

moongirl

I am a size 14 and am 5'6". I ordered several sets of the 'skinny tees' when they were on sale. I loved the various colors they came in and was excited and optimistic that they would work for me. Sorry to say, I was not at all comfortable in them. They showed every lump and bump. I could not justify paying all that $ just for a layering piece, so they had to be returned.

If you are LAYERING with SkinnyTees, then the LAYER OVER the skinnytees will COVER the lumps and bumps, leaving a nice smooth neckline LAYERED under a blazer or sweater or open collared shirt or jumper. I am curvy and the Plus sized SkinnyTees work great for me. Why? Because I LAYER them under other wardrobe pieces! I love mine. YRMV!

well, it shouldn't matter much if you have back fat or a tummy. this is a layering tee. it is meant to go UNDER something. it is not meant to be worn alone. and if it wasnt really tight, well, then you WOULD have lumps and bumps under your shirt ... wouldn't you? because it fits nice and tight, you get a nice smoothe layer under your tops.
