THE CONSTANT STORIES.....WILL THEY EVER END???

Just once I want to see a shoe show with Jane and not hear a story about someone in her family or where she is going in NY and what restaurant she will be going to, etc. etc. I live 5 minutes from Manhattan and really, I'm not impressed with hearing her stories of going into the City. I always DVR her shows so then I can fast forward until I see something I'm interested in........but it never fails there always has to be a family story.

The best was when she just started a presentation and didn't even get to talk about the shoe because she said "oh we ran out of time"! Gee, I can't imagine why! Just once, I really would like to see and hear the entire presentation, I know that's why I watch, to see if I want to make the purchase, not to hear about her daughters, her sister, her brother, the cat, the recitals, the restaurants and it goes on ad nauseum. Geez I wonder if her husband is jealous, never heard her mention him!

I must say I'm very surprised her producers don't tell her to tone it down, isn't it the host's job to present the products so the Q can make money?

I'm sure it's hard to fill all the air time for each product, so she uses the stories as a time-filler. I don't mind the stories.

In a 15-minute TSV presentation, she briefly mentioned that two family members use the orthotic inserts and her sister has to have half sizes. IMO that's not overkill. That presentation is currently posted on the website if anyone wants to check.

As I've said in the past, if her stories didn't sell product, she wouldn't be telling so many. I enjoy her shows.

I don't mind Jane talking about her family, etc., but I'll agree with you about Jane's Jam. And who is that guy that always joins them? He's the silliest of all.

I don't watch these shoe shows, but since I live on the other side of the country, the locations the hosts seem to talk about, the restaurants where they eat, and the whole Madison Avenue talk...all very insignificant to me.

Jane is full of herself. You are right she never talks about her husband, wonder why? I wonder why her older daughter is not in college after just graduating high school, she doesn't talk about that, but she barely brags about her older daughter other than to say she is dong ballet in New York City. I gather they are paying for her daughter's apartment in manhatten now Jane took over Lisa Robertson's chatter about manhatten. Geez, Jane, we don't care about your family this and that.

First there was Renee with her No More Wiggle, No More Jiggle ridiculous dancing and making the models shake their backsides and now we have Jane's Jam. Can't wait to see what's next, dancing animals?? That just may be entertaining! What is happening to the Q?

Santorini, Hard to fill time for products so she uses the stories as a time filler? She didn't even have time to finish a presentation because her producer told her she ran out of time. If what you post is true, then I guess all the hosts need to tell us all about their families, animals, etc to fill time? They don't ........they're doing the job they're paid to do.

I guess the same subject is always brought up because people are sick of hearing her life stories every time she's on air. I'm sure every host is proud of their family and friends and some mention them once in awhile for a minute but it's not overkill.

I see nothing wrong with 'Jane's Jam'. A bit of silliness that lasts barely thirty seconds is not too much. People should smile and have a good time when they can and if it bothers you, walk out of the room to get a drink of water and it will be over before you can get back. Sheesh!

Talk about the product first, then fill up time with a story, or show more products they only show about 6 or 7 per hour, why not sell 10 and make more money?

I must not watch Jane enough to be bothered but Renee making the models wiggle their backsides is just too demeaning. I don't like it when they treat the models like a clothes rack, touching them without their permission.They are human beings not things. Yes, turn around, walk a bit but forcing someone to shake their butt is not very classy. Just my opinion for what it is worth.
